He's way worse than LaLonde, could well be the worst title holder I've seen.

I hate to talk shit about boxers, especially guys who make it into big fights. It takes big balls to get into the ring and Fielding seems like a decent guy, but he was really bad. I mean the guy is much taller, has a six-inch reach advantage and is fighting a small dude coming up in weight and for some reason chooses to give all those advantages up. It's not rocket science, try to keep Canelo on the end of your jab, he loses anyway but he could have made it resemble something close to a fight at least. Bizarre strategy.

Fielding went to lose: all the pre-fight talk about it being 'a dream' and 'pinching myself' about facing Canelo at Madison Square Garden.
Doesn't neee a psychologist to tell you here is a boxer who won't do shit once the opening bell rings.
And given he was a) the 'champion' b) bigger c) taller d) longer reach it's the only conclusion: he's shit and he took a dive.

Fielding kept looking to his corner after every knockdown. After the very first one in fact.

Agree it was a shit fight and all. But fighters always look to their corner when they get knocked down. A good corner will tell their boxer ahead of time to make sure to let them know he is okay in the event of a knock down.

    No Doubt...

LaLonde Also MOVED DOWN to Face Ray Leonard (While Risking his Light Heavy Title Simultaneously) AND Produced a Memorable, Fan Friendly Fight...

LaLonde > Fielding, All Day ErrrrDay…

Canelo's ALWAYS Been Underrated Around These Parts...There's a LOT More Science to His Approach Than he's Ever Been Given Credit For...

While Canelo Certainly Hasn't MASTERED the Subtle Sciences to a MargaritoESQUE Level, There's Traces of it in his Repertoire, Along w/an Underrated Ability to Hunt...Just ask Triple G...

In Truth, Canelo Alvarez is a Multi-Phylum Phighter…

Even though today Canelo was a total hunter, I've seen him bust out a hippity-hop style

LaLonde was drained and had one functioning arm. He was better, way fucking better than this Feeling fella.

He also dropped the best fighter of that era.............Fielding did some dropping. Of his own. Literally.

Canelo is a fucking sham. He's lost three or 4 times by now. One of them he lost by 10 points and one judge had it a draw.

He's cheated with drugs and hand wraps and he's a fat fuck that blows up overnight.

    I'm tired of him.

Wouldn't be surprised if Canelo turned out to be a chronic wrap-cheat.

Regarding Canelo, You're the Inverse of the Judges You're Bitching About...They Give Canelo EVERY Benefit of EVERY Doubt and You're Affording Him 0% of ANY Doubt...

    3 or 4 Losses By Now? o_O

Vitali Klitschko has "Cheated w/Drugs" Also, yet you NEVER Get Hot and Bothered About That???...To Be Clear, REED Ain't Absolving Canelo of Shit, REED's Simply of the Belief EVERY Fighter Bends or Flat Out BREAKS the Rules Whenever/Wherever they Can...

Canelo's Handwraps were Never 1nce Questioned Until Last Night, yet he Wiped His Ass w/a Bigger Man Anyways...Naysayers Will Take the Opportunity to ASSume Canelo's ALWAYS Used Illegal Wrapping Methods Though...

The WHOLE Thing Boils Down to Bias and Fighter Preference...No More, No Less...Suspicions and Controversies Aside, Canelo Alvarez can CLEARLY Fight...Do You Dispute This?

But he’s not exactly causing serious harm to his opponents.

Make no mistake, I’m far from a Canelo fan. But I don’t think there is enough evidence to suggest he’s illegally wrapping. At least not yet...

What’s clear is that he’s a juicer who has the judges in his back pocket.

    Exactly...

Last Night's THE 1st Time This has Been an "Issue" w/Canelo, yet he Dropped his Foe 4 Times in 3 Rounds and STOPPED Him w/the Greatest of Ease Anyways...

This is false. Canelo gets plenty of credit for his offensive skill. No one ever called him Ricardo Mayorga.

Just watched the fight, canelo looked really really good. Seems to hit harder than before, and is a bit more compact with his punches. Sure Fielding was a bum and a dog, but it was an impressive performance by Canelo

    This...

It's Not as if Canelo Opponents Sustain Billy Collins Level Swelling, Get Sliced Up as Cotto did or Have their Fucking Ears Nearly DETACHED from the Side of their Heads...

And BECAUSE of Last Night, All Opposing Trainers Will Be EXTRA Cautious When Their Guy is Squaring Off w/Canelo, Moving Forward...Much Ado about NATHAN in REED's Opinion...

You're 1 of the MAIN Culprits, Brother X...

5 Years Ago YOU LITERALLY Said Canelo Alvarez was as Good as he was EVER Going to Be...Whereas REED was ALWAYS Of the Opinion a 23 Year Old Fighter Would IMPROVE Over Time...

YOU LITERALLY SAID That Bruh...Sure, Canelo Gets Credit for his Offensive Skill, just NOT at Fightbeat…

I hate when fighters do that, sounding like an awestruck teenager whenever they're talking about their opponent. You're fighting the cunt, he's going to try to render you unconcious. Cut that shit out. Has anyone EVER won a big fight after showering their opponent with fawning superlatives beforehand?

That argument also works for Tito. He only had an issue with his wraps once and none of his opponents ever had massive swelling and or cutting.

Taking it a Step Fuuuuuurther, Tito DIDN'T Fight Bernard Any Different or LESS Confident After Brother Naazim Forced the Re-Wrapping of his Hands...Ditto for Canelo Last Night...

But Antonio Margarito was Altogether DIFFERENT, Especially MENTALLY, when Naazim Forced the Re-Wrapping of his Hands vs. Sugar Shane...
