It's rare that you see a first time director hit two grand slams in a row, but people loved Get Out enough that I'm sure this will do huge box office numbers.

Going purely off this trailer, I suspect that this will b be above average, but fall short of being as good as Get Out, but we'll see, maybe Peele will surprise us.

 

Yeah, you gotta give it up to Peele for that... the guy is making original shit. Which is more than can be said for 99% of today's horror flicks.

Like that Bird Box shit that's out right now - looks like a rip off The Happening and A Quiet Place.

You can't say these Jordan Peele horror flicks are like anything else, so I commend him for that.

 

Get Out was fun

 

Pretty sure that zombie and exorcism movies account for like 90% of the trash that gets pushed out today in the horror genre. We do not need ANY... FUCKIN... MORE zombie or possession films.

Peele could be lazy, and say "I'll make an exorcism movie.... with an all-black cast!"

But to his credit, he's coming up with original ideas. A doppelganger horror flicks aren't explored too often.
