Klopp's gegenpress is the perfect antithesis to Guardiola's tiki taka, and far more fun to watch imo. In fairness to Guardiola though, the way he plays with City is a lot more direct than the previous styles he employed.

Klopp is your uncle that smokes pot, likes The Dead a little too much but is funny, smart, cool ... a good bad influence

Pep is your uncle that was like that as a teenager but later struggled to find a workable profession but by chance married a Fortune 500 CEO and now acts dismissive of your uncle and acts like his wife's professional accomplishments are his professional accomplishments

Nothing to be ashamed of for a club that's only been around for a few years, mind

So away to watch it with my grandad, dad, two brothers and our three partners all of whom LOVE THE JUNGLE TEAM. 3-1 shellik, NAE DANGER

Only 1 point off the playoffs now, but we should be there already. Shouldn't be drawing at home to Reading.

WHat Spurs did today was always coming, I just didn't see it happening until after the culmination of their League Cup and European Cup runs, when fatigue and squad-depth, or lack thereof, started to tell.

Instead, what we saw today was an emotional collapse, rather than a physical one.

The big question.........CAN LIVERPOOL take advantage,or not.

    Massive moment this.

Perhaps Liverpool might benefit from the platitudes o’ Matt and Luke Goss from Bros:

“The letters H-O-M-E are so important, because they personify the word ‘home’” and: “Rome wasn’t built in a day and fuck me that’s true, but we don’t have the time that Rome had”

But Arsenal are pressing very very hard themselves and Robertson, who is getting tag-teamed, has finally been booked.

Guy on BBC saying he opened his WhatsApp to have a crack at his Liverpool mates and by the time he had it opened and the message written, Arsenal were behind. That sort of game.

Reminds me a LOT in terms of how I feel about that 4-4 draw when that Russian doll got all 4 goals for Arsenal.

Likewise, Arsenal took the lead in that game and Liverpool got the next two.

We shall see. But Arsenal really are pressing Liverpool HARD.

It still cracks me up to this day how revered that lot were back in the day.

My father mortified my sister once when he got hold of a letter she had sent, or wanted to send, to their fanclub.

In essence, we never ever had any money as kids but we had good brains and education.

My sister must have been no older than 12-13, this is 1988, 1989, peak Brossness.

Basically they had this fanclub, and she writes in to it saying that she didn't have any money and could they just send the merchandise and she'd forward the cash when she had it.

My old man took the piss something fierce and said that the fucking letter would "wind up framed on somebody's wall in London". He also noted that everybody who joined the fanclub was being promised that they would get to meet BROS. My old man did some quick maths and presumed that this meeting would take place, for the majority of the fans, in the afterlife.

Shit times but I remember them fondly. The rubbish that we took an interest in.

BROS were doing a gig up in Wembley at the time and all the little rustics and penniless rubes who used to read "Smash Hits" magazine were shuffling about the estate chatting shit about Wembley this and London that. None of these cunts had been outside the county, never mind the Country.

25 years later I stood outside Wembley myself and have to say the above story just came rushing back to me.

Like I said, the shit we took an interest in.
