I think Nunes will end Cyborg's streak.

 

Cyborg is greatly overrated due to lack of 145 fighters. Her fight against a 135 pounder Holmes was a very underwhelming affair. Nunes has better punches than Cyborg but her cardio is shit. Nunes could catch her with a big right early.

 

Cyborg's made a career out of fighting smaller, weaker women. And on top, she was taking steroids and sh*t. Cyborg needs to be fighting guys her size like Khabib and McGregor.

Biggest story here is Jon Jones not wanting to fight Cormier at heavyweight. He only wants the fight at 205.
Jones probably fearing that Cormier coming in at 250 would give him a considerable advantage in the wrestling aspect and Jones may not be able to fend him off on the ground if it goes there.

Women's 145 was only created to bring in cyborg and milk her popularity. Now that she's exposed they should close it down. They literally don't have 5 fighters in the entire division.

 

Wasn't Jones the one who called Lesnar out first? I'd think Jones would be the one wanting to get that Lesnar fight right now rather than letting Cormier steal his big payday. Just a thought.

 

I'm not sure if Jones is as confident in taking a DC fight at heavyweight as you'd think Reed. There's a difference between wrestling with a 205 lb guy and wrestling with a 250 lb guy. The whole dynamic, the pressure and physical strength would be entirely different at heavyweight. DC coming forward in on Jones at that weight could be a challenge for Jones. Although Jones still would be the favourite. But if it goes to the ground, DC would have a lot of weight for Jones to deal with.
That might be playing into Jones' mind.

 

At the End of the Day, Jones Would STILL Be Taller, Rangier, More Dynamic, More Creative AND He’d Be Weighing 230-240 Himself...
