    Im looking forward to this movie, because Jordan definitely has that eye for suspense. He can only get better. Get Out was a fun movie. Not academy award worthy, but i must watch for any fan of the genre

    It might not be pointless. It's early to predict, but possibly the alternate family are not as evil as they appear and are there to actually help. And possibly the friends who they are talking with in the beginning are evil and are behind some sinister plot that caused this alternate family's demise. So maybe they are there for revenge. Just a wild guess.

    If the alternate family is indeed bad, i can see it ending where someone in the alternate family gets mistaken for the good family at the end.

    i also hope there are no comic relief characters like that fat black guy in Get Out...that guy really ruined the movie from a cool horror to a 'eye roll/groan' type movie

    I didnt mind him. He was actually a cool character. Someone the audience was made to think was a fool, but turned out to be pretty competent and reliable in the end.

    Yeah that guy felt like straight out of a Madea film. When I watched 'Get Out' at the theater I too wanted to Get Out of the theater every time this dude was onscreen. Overrated film anyway.

    the shitty writer got confused half way and wasn't sure if he was making a 'Scary Movie'

    Godfather loved it though...he then went to watch Big Mammas House and some Chris Tucker movies, etc

    I never even said i loved the movie. Hell i even said it wasnt original. Your take is just off IMO. The character you are describing isnt in this movie. Not only was the security guard solid with his comedy, but he was no fool and was the only person in the whole movie that was making sense.

    It's ironic that similar to how the characters in the movies dismissed him because he was the funny, chubby black man, it seems you have done the same. Completely missing the point of his character.

    I mean you basically are putting in the same category as John Witherspoon in Friday. And he was nothing like that.

    Saw this today.

    Ohhh boy. I was rooting for it. I really was, but what a complete cluster fuck of a film this was.

    Made entirely NO fuckin sense! I get whatever deep messaging Peele was trying to go for. That this film was a metaphor for a slave uprising, but that doesnt excuse him for having 10,000 fucking plot holes in this one.

    Huge letdown, but what else is new? Every fucking movie is a letdown now.

    I think I’m going to skip it. Not just because the reviews I’ve heard -even the positive ones- make it sound unappealing, but because that was the initial feeling I got from the trailer as well. For the record I still haven’t even seen Get Out yet.

    Lol. It doesn’t work that way Anthony. I’m gonna watch it, I just have so many other things lined up. The two times I tried to see it got aborted because the download I had was messed up and I never saw it come on the movie channels over here.
