Exactly how bad of an interpreter is Ray Torres?

Ray Torres was a pretty bad interpreter...from what I was told.

 

"HE's INFLATING"

 

Lmfao! I remember that.

But you know what's even fucking funnier is Merchants misinterpretation of Ray Torres misinterpretation.

When Torres said "He's Inflating"..............he meant that Chavez cornermen were alluding to how Taylors face was starting to swell.

Of course that was too much for Merchant. He couldn't keep it simple. He had to come out with some profound shit.

In fact, Merchant had TWO misinterpretations, telling the viewers that Torres had said "He's getting inflated".........

But listen to Torres from 45:00 on because he's trying to soften what's actually being said.

I forgot the name of the interpreter from Chavez-Taylor that HBO had before Torres.

I'm not fluent in Spanish, but I think that guy was a helluva lot better than Torres.
