Many come to mind but I’ll name a couple.

Frazier- If there was ever a guy that never seemed to tire, it was Smokin Joe. He was perpetual motion with his upper body and head movement, feints, and powerful hooks.

Leonard- Perhaps the most relaxed guy I’ve ever seen in the ring. His first fight with Duran was fought at an ABSURD pace and he never appeared to tire even in the late rounds as it was clear Duran was ahead. I don’t think it was possible for Leonard to punch himself out.

    Others?

Trinidad definitely had great stamina. His marathon running in between training camps probably played a role, plus his patient style of fighting.

Slice had a good mention with Calzaghe. Say what you want about Sloppy Joe, but his ability to throw and throw all the while consistently pivoting and stepping around made him a difficult man to beat.

I think even the biggest Calzaghe haters have to admit he had absurd stamina. Fuck, McDogg's whole repertoire of Calzaghe-based insults are grounded in his obvious physical fitness. His engine was immense.

Well partially but it was more his incredibly queer style of fighting ... he looks like he's doing aerobics class ... pumping his legs, throwing faggy little swats

Canizales had good stamina. Then again, most bantamweights' stamina shits on middles and heavies.

Probably same reason they throw more punches and have better technique.

Just like any other division, theres levels to it. Not all bantams have/had great stamina.

Canizales though, yes, very good motor.

Gomez at 122 had endless stamina.

    Not entirely.
    It´s VO2max levels.

Someone who weighs 230lb would be expected to transport twice as much oxygen as someone who weighs 130lb even if they have exactly the same fitness.
Dividing VO2max by weight allows to compare values between people of different sizes.

However, the problem is that someone who weighs 230lb isn't just a scaled-up version of someone who weighs 130lb. They will typically have different amounts of fat and muscle, and probably also different bone proportions and so on. The reason bigger people use more oxygen is that they have more muscle -- it's muscle that uses the oxygen to assist aerobic metabolism, after all -- so differing amounts of fat just confuse the issue.
Somone like Calzaghe wasn´t a very muscular guy at all - this would explain, in part, why he had better stamina than most guys at 160, 168, 175lb

Duran and Pacquiao. There are certain fighters who were still fresh in the late rounds such as Floyd and Hopkins, but they have far more relaxed and conservative styles.

What amazes me about Duran and Pacquiao is the sheer intensity and energy they fought with, yet somehow still didn't get tired. They both had VERY high energy styles, and were still bouncing around in the final rounds, fresh as a daisy.

Good choices...I know Manny Steward was prone to hyperbole but he said Leonard’s stamina was possibly the best ever in his prime.

Another thing about Montreal was that Leonard got his body beaten badly, but was still going very strong in round 15. When Leonard came back, he was still physically pretty sharp against Hagler with his speed and movement and reflexes, but he got tired a lot quicker.

Ali is another guy who could finish strong after taking a beating to the body...even in 100+ degree weather.

Salvador Sanchez is my #1 pick. That mutherfucker could go 15 rounds against a young Azumah Nelson, score a TKO and still breathing normally. He had insane stamina!

I couldn't care less. I never was a big Mc fan and am even less of a fan of him and his dickhead son today.

But Nelson had a fat mouth.

You should wish for a mythical matchup with Arguello, then.

I think Alexis would have fucked up Nelson badly.
