My point is, it seems odd to act like Canelo has gone above and beyond by agreeing to fight Jacobs, and that GGG must respond in kind. When in fact, GGG has already faced Jacobs.

It's a good matchup. But considering the number of threats at 160, and the fact he arguably lost twice to GGG, he's in a corner.

Obviously, it will be good if GGG faces a similar level threat. But I don't know what network he's even with. Did he sign with DAZN? If so, Charlo is off the table. Not sure about Saunders and Korborov. Would love to see him face Andrade.

 

He won't face anyone of note. GGG is as unambitious as you can be. He'll be happy claiming he was robbed by Canelo while fighting stiffs for the rest of his carreer. And this is coming from a former fan
