I think Tyson cried because Ali is his hero and he recently died.

 

It's retarded to say Mike Tyson lacked heart imo, he showed it consistently throughout his career whenever he was challenged by much bigger man who did not fear him and tested him (Green, Bruno 1st time, Tucker, Ruddock). Even in his first 2 losses, he showed tremendous heart and an iron will to win. The only time in his career (apart from his last 2 losses when he was an old man who did not want to fight anymore) you could question it was the Bite Fight, but just as it was the case with Duran's No Mas, I layperson think it had more to do with frustration more than anything else and, more importantly, it was an isolated incident.

As for the interview, sadly I think it shows that Tyson stills suffers from bipolar disorder. I don't find it normal for a grown man to get so emotional when talking about another man he barely knew.

 

Funilly, I just read that Tyson suffered from untreated gonorrhea in his fight vs Berbick. It may explain how savage his demeanor was in this fight (this shit hurts)
