funnily enough I bought it on dvd (back when that was a thing) and it's still unwrapped. I just for some reason feel it will be very boring. Same for Godfather...

 

Usual Suspects was excellent and very entertaining... I'd rather watch that than the 9-hour long "Heat" any day

Typical that you'd say this...

 

Heat is considered Michael Mann's masterpiece, but I think it's his second best film.

I think Thief is better. That's a fucking terrific film!

If Heat and PF were both on TV right now, I'd watch Heat. So I guess that settles it for me.

Honestly I rank Manhunter and The Last of the Mohicans above Heat.

 

Manhunter is a very good film, but it's not better than Heat.

I'd rank Manhubter as his third best film.

 

I never saw Manhunter, Last Of The Mohicans, Thief nor LA Confidential. I didn’t like Usual Suspects.

 

LA Confidential is one of the best films of the 90s, regardless of genre.
