Just wanted to give a quick two cents on Xavi Hernandez. I’m sure y’all have heard he’s retiring from the game.

For me, perhaps the most important and fundamental piece of what is the Spanish style of football. Sure we cannot forget the clutch performances of Villa and Iniesta and the clutch saves by Casillas. But Xavi was the engine that made the car go places. And to be honest, I don’t see a replacement on the horizon. It’s a big reason the Spanish side is but a shadow of its former self.
