Pretty sure I had Maidana beating Khan 7-5.

 

Khan won that fight. Get over it. Even Maidana said he lost because he gave away too many rounds after the body shot in the first.

Totally agree. He's an aggressive fighter whose main strength is his punching power. That does not mean he's awful or any of the other stupid shit some people are saying.

 

Khan beat Maidana. Don't remember many people suggesting at the time that he didn't. A draw was possible, but Khan didn't lose seven rounds of that fight. And I wrote a preview of that fight, back in the day when this site actually bothered with that sort of thing, and picked Maidana by KO to win.

Doesn't mean much about his prospects for beating Brown. He wouldn't. But he did beat Maidana. He also beat the brakes of Alexander, who is being talked up in this thread, too.

Khan didn't; Khan had to resort to constant cheating aided by poor officiating to survive the fight with Maidana

Not sure at all how Khan cheated or benefited from poor officiating in that fight.

As I said, doesn't matter in the scheme of this fight. Brown would indeed whip all three of the above.

Have you watched Alexander/Maidana? Alexander's holding was far more egregious than Khans. In general, Alexander is one of the stinkiest fighters probably ever.
