Rockets got exactly what they asked for. This has to sting twice as much as last year's "if we woulda had Chris Paul" cry.

Well hell, you had him without GS with Durant and you STILL didn't close the deal. This time lost in 6.

John Stockton and Karl Malone should give Paul and Harden a call to tell them how to live with playoff losses.

I think next year Harden needs to chill out a little bit during the regular season. He’s been at least a top 2 in MVP voting for like 5 years in row. Whether he gets another MVP this year or not next season he needs to save some juice for the post season.

I had a feeling once Durant got hurt Curry would start being Curry again and the Warriors would look unstoppable again. To be honest Durant was never a good addition to this team. It depleted their bench and killed their offensive rhythm. It also caused deep seated mental issues due to the whose team is it situation between Durant and Curry.

What He’s Saying (REED Thinks) is KD Was Always More of a LUXURY Than a NECESSITY For GS.

Yeah laugh all you want but I can all but guarantee GSW will look better next season when Durant leaves. They’ll be able to field a stronger bench, they’re offense will be more efficient and free flowing which will bring the joy back to everyone on the team and it will all be reflected when they win more games than they have the past two seasons. This is my prediction.

Per Reports, GS was Unusually Happy and Celebratory After Eliminating Houston...

Draymond Stood Outside the Locker Room and High 5'ed Each Player as they Walked In, Klay Had His Chest Puffed Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Out and Steph Got a Standing Ovation from the Entire Team When he Entered the Locker Room...

Collectively, They Wanted to PROVE Something in KD's Absence...And They Did...It was a Throwback Performance...

Makes You Wonder How Quickly They'll Work KD Back into the Mix...It Could Be the NBA Finals Before we See him Again, Especially if Denver (Who GS OWNED in the Regular Season) Advances to the Western Conference Finals...

I didnt see the efficient, free flowing offense

I saw a scrappy performance from a team with players who know what it takes to win

Getting loose balls and offensive rebounds, forcing turnovers, and igoudala hitting 5 threes.

Clearly they were motivated to prove they could win without Durant and it showed in how they played harder than houston

    Huh???...

The Free Flowing Offense is What GOT Iguodala the 5 3's in the 1st Place...They Certainly Weren't Running Offense FOR Iguodala...Ditto for Livingston, who Also Scored in Double Digits...

Looney's Dirty Work and Hustle Plays were Crucial as Well, but it was Definitely the Free Flowing Pre-KD Offense we Got Accustomed to Seeing from GS...

All That Said, the Ball is in KD's Court...If he WANTS to Stay, He'll Be Embraced and Accepted w/Open Arms...But the Feeling is That he's ALREADY Got 1 Foot Out the Door...

Anyways, the ONLY Threat to GS' 3-Peat is Milwaukee, Who Blew the Warriors Out in Oakland, Yet Lost By 10 on their Homecourt...

Igoudala got those shots cuz they were leaving him open

They chose to let him be the one to beat them and he did

That's the PREMISE of the Free Flowing Offense...

If You Pass/Cut Enough Times, the Defense WILL Break Down and Decisions WILL Need to Be Made on Their Behalf...It's Not Like Iguodala was Running Around COMPLETELY Unguarded, He Got Open in Rotations Which Forced Houston's D to Pick their Poison...

And While Steph and Klay Made Some CONTESTED 3's, Iguodala Took Advantage of His "Sometimey" Danny Green Ass Moments...

Igoudala always gets open looks. With or without Durant. teams pick their poison and it leads to him or green being uncovered all the fuckin time

I didnt see any better ball movement from the warriors last night as some anticipated without durant

No KD = Dubs MINIMUM top 2 team in the league
With KD = Title clinching team, every season, until the chicken legs issue occurs (like now)

Toronto would be a bigger threat to the Dubs if Siakam didn't blow out his quads

Toronto has more guys who can matchup with Durant but them going cold from outside for such long stretches is a worry

Sorry I can’t settle the argument between y’all (Reed & Neil) but I went to the barbershop the other day and wound up seeing the end result of the game on Sportscenter and felt no desire to rewatch it later.

Dont really see any comparison between the games of Danny green and igoudala. Reed seems to be taking a shot at igoudala with that one?

The guy has proven to be an extremely valuable player in the league for going on 15 years now

Elite defender who consistently steps his game up the bigger the stakes and has a finals mvp to show for it

Elite IQ and high level athleticism even at his current age

Great addition to any team and his loss the final few games of the rockets series last year was sorely felt

They definitely need KD for that series.

That early season blowout, not sure how relevent that is now.

Another angle is it had nada to do with KD.

Did you see the story about Chris Paul finding out that Steph scheduled an hour shooting practice at the arena then went to the arena and took that slot? Paul refused to share the court with Steph so Steph didn't get in his shooting practice.

There's a video of Steph walking to the locker room after the win slapping hands with Draymond saying, "kick me off the court again, boy!"

I don't look at their celebration as anti-Durant or we proved we could do it without him. All the shit Houston talked over the course of the year certainly played into it.

Chris Paul is a notorious douche bag. Must have felt good.

Rumor is that they were so happy beating Houston because they hate Chris Paul.

Seems to be a common sentiment around the league.

Chris Paul is a prick and not many like him.

BTW, Chris Paul has the same sneaky, back stabbing personality that REED mentioned Ray Leonard, and Zeke Thomas having. Maybe even worse than those guys.

With ONE huge difference.... Leonard and Thomas were winners.

Chris Paul is a loser. Always has been and always will be.

Lillard will now go up against Steph, so I assume he'll be motivated again.

I think in my mind Kawhi stays in Toronto after delivering the first ever Game 7 last second winning shot

Siakam was way too passive. He needs to be aggressive and play well if they're to beat Milwaukee
