Oh come on to fuck, the two incidents weren't on the same planet. One was a tangle the other (yet another) criminal assault

That said I'm starting to wish one of your lot would do us a favour and finish the job, brown has reverted to being indescribably, sinfully pish under Lennon. Pre-rodgers I used to count how often he'd give the ball away needlessly and I've gone back to it - 6 times in that first half alone. Utterly atrocious, he either needs forcefully instructed to limit himself to 5 yard sideways passes or he needs punted to fuck

I think it's age as much as anything... he looks a great deal slower in everything he does ... looks like a guy that can no longer keep pace with the play around him

It's one thing to be 33 and be a Regista like Pirlo or Scholes where your greatest gift is in your vision and your passing and technique... but Brown is a hustling, combative ball winner, not a playmaker... he lacks the breadth of skills to grow old gracefully and still play high level football... guys like him slow down and they have to go play in lesser leagues

There's been a noticeable shift in his positioning and the ambition and directness of his passing- Rodgers had him playing a much more disciplined curtailed role which basically amounted to playing very' very simple short give and go passes out from deep/ centre back when we had possession. Ironically a role very similar to the one Lennon played. Now he's gone back to thinking he's fucking Paul mcstay and he can boss the game, thread passes to strikers etc. Aye age won't be helping but he was far more effective aged 33 at the start of this season than he had been age 27, I dont think it's the biggest difference

Lennon always seemed convinced by Brown back in the days when we were calling for his head ... god knows why ... he's a grinder, not an artist and he should grind exclusively... but 33 isn't young for a midfielder who wasn't particularly pacy to begin with, I think it's part of it

Besides Brown, the regular who has most often aggravated me of late is Rogic who looks half asleep most of the time

I had a cool dream you would've enjoyed last night, Billeh. I was the captain of a wooden warship full of Scottish (and irish but they were on oor side) soldiers fighting the English! We circled their much larger vessel landing cannon shots into their hull then stormed their vessel swords in hand singing Loch lomond! The condemned man shall return first via the low road. All extremely vivid, especially the music. The battle was going well, I killed at least half a dozen but then I met Tim Roth who was clearly superior and who toyed with me before running me through and finishing me off by stabbing me in the eye with a small handheld spike. I had no chance in that one, can't win them all. At which point i woke up, pretty happy.

I think alot of its the intangible stuff - off the park hes first on thevtraining ground and makes everyone work, he's good in the dressing room, etc. And he is a presence on the park as 4 rangers players criminally assaulting him in two games testifies. As a manager he must make your job easier. But as a pure footballer he's completely third rate in my view.

In tierney's absence Sinclair has basically taken to visibly abusing Izaguire every time the two of them miscoordinate. As if the fact that neither of them is a tenth as good as Tierney is 100% izzaguire's fault.

That's really started pissing me off to watch.

Exactly... he loves his attitude which is fine but that doesn't typically translate to on-field competence in Brown's case... it CAN when he plays a very simple, restricted game but when he's allowed to pretend he's Xavi, it's a fucking disaster ... of course, if Rogic had 1/8 Brown's hustle I'd be less inclined to want to shoot him

Georgie Samaras used to sleepwalk too but he'd often wake up in huge moments... Rogic doesn't do that... when he wakes up, Celtic are playing Livingston or Accies

Sinclair was a flash in the pan... had a major hot streak to begin his time at Celtic but has fallen back to his actual level which is completely ordinary really

Aye, I can't completely work The Sinclair Problem out tbh. He's so clearly a weak minded confidence player so there's that but it did seem like teams sussed him out a bit too....just stand off him and it's as good as freezing fucking time, the whole game stops while he twinkles his toes effetely on the spot for 7 seconds.

I'd keep him as a squad player/impact sub but i dont think he's good enough to start going forward

The problem is that I don't know if he can even function as a sub because he thinks he's a starter

    Leeds Blew it.

Fat Franks Derby Delinquents got a goal either side of half time and then a penalty that sunk Leeds.
