I used to go back and forth but yeah I'm going with Wilder right now. I just can't see AJ avoiding that right hand for 36 minutes. His only hope is to try and take Wilder out before he gets a chance to land it, which he's capable of doing, but the problem with that is there's obviously a big risk of getting caught whilst trying to do it.

 

Wilder has a good shot, his punching power is the stuff of greats.

However I still make Joshua the favorite, about 60:40. He simply has more tools.

 

Agreed. And I can't help but think the huge threat of Wilder's right hand will stifle his own offense, and increase Wilder's chances of landing the long right hand without having much to worry about.

I mean, he played it safe against Joseph Parker, I can't really envisage him trying to take someone as dangerous as Wilder out, early.
