Inoue is better than Loma

Also like Gomez, Inoue is a great combination puncher.

Cuevas wasnt known for his electrifying combinations. He was known for that brutal hook.

 

He doesn't remind me of either tbh

 

He reminds me a bit of DeGale.

 

What the fuck? "Reminds me of" ... like "the way this guy moves or throws shots looks similar to this other guy"

 

Inoue is very much like a more athletic Cuevas. Similar guard, same kind of magnetic offensive footwork to set up the melee and clean guys up with that amazing hook.

 

Inoue is reminiscent of a young (fellow 3 time champ) randall bailey

 

I have been saying for the past year and a half about that this is the kid to knock Lomachenko out. After he ices Nonito he is signing with Top Rank who promotes Vasiliy so that fight may happen down the road a piece as Loma said he is not moving higher up than 135.

I've been saying that the talent pool has markedly improved from 10 years ago.

The sport was in a BAD PLACE circa 2009-2011, when the young talent was considered Khan, Alexander, Ortiz, Berto, ect. The heavyweight champ was Wald. Martinez ruled over a HORRIBLE middleweight division. Floyd was semi-retired... Manny was the only compelling fighter in the sport. It was a DARK time, and I wasnt sure if boxing would make it.

The sport has risen from the ashes since then.

 

Clearly better?

I dunno what puts Loma on some untouchable pedestal.

Inoue has been arguably more dominant, against comparable comp.

The Loma hype is becoming too much.

His fans act like he's head and shoulders clearly the best fighter in the world, whIen Inoue, Crawford, and Spence consistently show that Loma is not on some planet by himself.

Got to be honest I've never seen Butler, but just seen his coach is Joe Gallagher. So that means he will cover up and walk forwards not throwing anything in the hope Inoue gets tired and will inevitably get seven shades of shit punched out of him.

 

Yeah, Inoue is literally the worst the fighter in the world to use that strategy on.

 

I have seen Butler once.

Of course A > B > C doesn't always work in boxing, but considering that Butler lost 12-0 to Rodriguez and went down twice in the first round, and that Inoue blasted the same Rodriguez out under four minutes, chances are that this won't be a memorable classic
