Tbh Slicey, that's only half true. In theory are you right? Of course, but there's various degrees of tapping, various degrees of trying to escape a choke and being prepared to go out while doing it.

Conor is a quick tapper, this is known. When the going gets tough, he folds and looks for a way out. He tapped against Nate, more or less as soon as Nate's arm touched his neck.

 

Agreed and I am not surprised about Lobov being sent back in so soon........since when did promoters give a fuck about a guys health? Since never, really.

If Paulie can make him miss......great. But if guys are roided to fuck.....who knows.

I think Paulie is getting done here.

 

Paulie's lack of power might not be as much of a hindrance as it was a in boxing matches. If he focuses purely on the hit not get hit type style even with light shots an opponent is going to get marked up if continually getting tagged. I'm not sure what the threshold is when it comes to stoppages due to cuts in bareknuckle boxing is though.

I was referring to where I met the man. It was at NRG Arena after some fights for a long defunct promotion where he was a coach to a group of fighters where there were several teams of fighters cannot recall the name of it now.

Steroids aren't just used to give you a Mr Universe body. They are used for increased endurance, increased testosterone, gives you more power, helps you recover a lot quicker, etc. You can be looking like Butterbean and still be taking steroids and getting a lot of benefit.
