They kind of got good for a bit at the very end with the 3 FA Cups but they got way too many "On my day" players.

Yeah that's a point I could have made around the game too, the guys before the game said it had a "friendly" feel. The few fans in the crowd looked like they were just stuck in there for the cameras.

Azerbaijan is the pits of the World..........it's the first time, and I include Israel vs Palestine....I have ever heard of a country who was merely hosting a mere one off game, had no active particpation in it, where fans and players of one side were stopped from getting into the country because they came from a country that was neither playing nor hosting the game in question.

Football is supposed to over ride this shit and instead they are, literally, taking the ball and going home with it.

I have nothing against Arsenal per se. Proper fitba club, prestigious, lengthy history...but the way they hounded Wenger out was laughable. I hope they are enjoying the fruits of their labour.

Yeah but............they didn't dominate en route mate, got beat by some minnow outfit if I recall........they were poor, really poor, what makes this Arsenal side so bad is that seemed to have had plenty of desire to get to their Cup Final and no desire to do anything when they got there, they were really really not up for it, and that's worrying. It wasn't just the score, it was how they conceded. Cech looked like an old man in parts. I never saw a bit of link up play.

 

The geography was one thing. The fucking about with tickets and telling people with Armenian names they couldn't play was something else. Arsenals best player basically told he couldn;t play on ethnic and racial grounds. This is Jackie Robinson stuff.
