Haven’t seen the fight. Sounds like Joshua was concussed in the third round and people are trying to use following rounds to criticize him in various ways. If he was, it’s stupid to act like his performance provides evidence of much of anything.

I like Ruiz well enough, but this is a huge fucking upset, close to Tyson Douglas. I saw 33-1 and thought that was steep, but the comeback on Ruiz was only 11-1. No fucking thanks to that.

Joshua is so much better than Grant that any of you pretending otherwise are lying or demented.

To be honest until last night the only full fight of AJ I saw was the Klitschko fight. Which he barely won against a 40 year old in his retirement fight. I saw highlights of AJ but not full fights. Right away yesterday it jumped out to me how one dimensional and plodding he looks. Jab was slow and weak the right hand was pretty good but defense and footwork just plain bad. AJ was hurt early in round 2 but came back and dropped Ruiz with a good shot. Then he fucked everything up by trying to have an impressive u.s debut and rushed it. If he played it cool he might have won. Ruiz would go in a shell and AJ could have pecked away at him. The moment Ruiz realized he has enough power to crack the glass you could see he started believing he's got this. AJ will most likely never fight in the states again. Big debut against a guy who looks like a Taco Bell employee and he gets battered? U.S lost interest. Guaranteed.

Admittedly no I did not, I was tentatively picking Joshua. I thought he had a good shot though, and tbh as soon as the fight was announced I thought he had a much better chance than that big guy who popped for 100 roids.
