I only give a shit about one TR fighter competing on PBC/Fox PPV. That's the major development I wanna see.
It's not inconceivable. Ramirez is nothing great. Hooker has a shot of pulling an upset. But do I think he will? Nah, I think Ramirez by UD is the safest pick.
This fight is on Saturday. Pretty good matchup. I'm thinking Ramirez wins a UD. Hooker did look good against Saucedo, but Ramirez is a lot better than Saucedo. REED, curious to hear your thoughts.
I can't make the mistake of sleeping on Hooker completely. I counted him out against Saucedo and he proved me wrong, but I should have known the writing was on the wall when Saucedo almost got KO'd by Lenny Z. Ramirez has a much better chin than Saucedo, and he's faster/more skilled.
Mighty Mo Was Slept On His Entire Ammy Career, as he Turned Pro and Even as He's Won and Defended a Title...REED GETS It Though, Mo's Never Gonna Be an Elite, Pound for Pound Caliber Fighter...He's Not "Special", Per Se...But REED Doesn't Think Ramirez is Either... Ramirez Will Be the Best Guy Mo's Ever Fought, but Mo Has a Knack for Rising ABOVE the Doubters...Proving Them Wrong Time and Time Again... Obviously Biased, but REED's Expecting Mo to Do it Yet Again... Black Fighters in Texas Spar Mexican Fighters ALL the Time, Which Explains the Success Guys Like Spence, the Charlo's and Even Charles Hatley's Had Against Mexican Fighters...Ditto for Sugar Shane, who Sparred Mexicans Primarily in Cali...In THAT Way, Mo's Cut from the Same Cloth and Looooooooooooooves a Good Dust-Up, if Ramirez is Sooooo Inclined... On the Flipside, Mo's Gotten More and MORE Technically Sound Every Fight, He's Slightly TALLER than Ramirez and Has the Reach of a Fucking Heavyweight... It'll Be an Entertaining Scrap for Sure and Mo May Flirt w/Defeat Again, as he Did in the Saucedo Fight, but Few if Any Current Fighters Have Repeatedly EXCEEDED Low Expectations the Way 'Reese Hooker Has... REED
I guess for me, I still cant get over the first time i saw hooker fight and how shitty he looked vs Perez It seems that may have been an off night based on his subsequent victories. I still couldn't resist betting on Ramirez at nearly even odds
Nah, Your Eyes DIDN'T Fool You That Night, Neil...Reese LOST That Fight, Yet the Duva Connection, Which Mo was FORTUNATE to Obtain to Begin w/, Preserved His O... If REED Isn't Mistaken, Reese's Pro Debut Was Against a 6-1/7-1 Type of Dude, In DUDE'S Hometown, Yet Mo Got a Draw...Boxing Heads in Dallas (Who Never Thought Much of Mo as an Ammy) Figured He Was Being Led to Slaughter, Yet Mo Walked Away w/a Draw... Reese Has a WEIRD Way of Overcoming Odds and He's COMFORTABLE Being the Underdog...Obviously, That WON'T Be Enough @ Some Point, Especially if the Prograis-Taylor Winner is Next, But REED Thinks it's JUST Enough to Beat Ramirez in a Back and Forth Affair... Maurice Hooker's a LATE Bloomer, But He IS Blooming...And He's Got NUTS When All Else Fails... REED
This is the only good matchup of the weekend. Gervonta Davis is fighting some fall guy tomorrow... as usual...
DAZN Is More Compatible to REED's Phone Than SmartTV, So the Showtime Card Gets Big Screen Treatment... Hooker-Ramirez Will Get REED's FULL Attention Once the Farmer Fight is Over, However... REED
Farmer Fight's in Round 3 w/12 Written All Over It, Whereas Showtime Main Event's About to Begin... Gotta Loooooooooooooooooooove the Timing! REED
Damn Good Fight... 1st Round "Knockdown" was Bullshit, but Reese Gave Away the 2nd Laying on the Ropes...Eeked Out the 3rd in My Opinion Though... REED
