i was at that fight in Indio, california. manfredy vs robinson/ mosley vs john brown. 20 fuckin years ago
I think Keith is just happy to be here knowing that in all likelihood, this is his last fight. I can’t visualize him looking to face the likes of Spence and Crawford. I just don’t see it. Win, lose, or draw, Thurman rides off into the sunset after this fight.
You're being overly sensitive. Nobody dislikes Thurman. Not PR nor myself. It's not like he has a hateful personality. I think we can all agree that Keith comes across as a good dude from a good family. The FACT is that post-Garcia, Thurman seemed to lose his desire for boxing, which is disappointing considering that at one point he seemed like a fighter willing to test himself. His blatant avoidance of Spence, and his delusion (thinking he's a Floyd level superstar) have managed to turn off a lot of fans off. It might have resulted in downright dislike, but he's succeeded in turning off a lot of fans, and for very GOOD reason.
I get it. But seeing comments and comments about Thurman ''lost passion'' is beyond tiresome, especially since he's having a huge fight in a few weeks
Well, pretty soon Thurman will have faced Garcia, Porter and Pacquiao. That shits on Crawford. You can't be a Crawford fan and be hard on Thurman.
I was recently critical of Crawford deciding to resign with TR instead of going to PBC. Pac isn't Crawford's fault though. Crawford wanted that fight. Arum wanted that fight. Team Pac didn't want it.
Look at these two abject cowards attempting to tarnish the name of one of the most decorated boxing commentators. If either of you bigots tried your classless humor in person you'd end up like Andy merchant
I usually don't change my picks based on training footage, but IF training footage is any indication, then Pac has the edge. Keith looks like dog shit in all training camp videos. Just slower, and less sharp than he used to be.
Yeah, Counterfeit Keef' Ain't Bout This Boxing Life Anymore...Doesn't Want to Relinquish the Perks, Yet Doesn't Want to Push the Envelope Either... And Even if he KO'ed Manny in the 1st Round (He Won't), Thurman Would STILL Delay Bouts w/Spence and/or Crawford...He's ALREADY Done as a Fighter, Mentally... & The Over the Top ENERGY He's Bringing to the Pacquiao Fight is SHAMEFUL Considering How Loooooooooooooooong and BADLY He's Ducked Spence...True Tough Guys are Simply Tough, Not CONVENIENTLY Tough... REED
Right... REED Has NATHAN Against Dude Personally, but he WILLINGLY Allowed Boxing's Best Division to STAGNATE...If You're Unwilling to Help the Division PROGRESS, to Make Your Sport a Little Bit BETTER Than it May Have Been Previously, Get the Fuck Out of the Way @ Least... REED
He's Having a Huge Fight Against a 40 Year Old Man Who's Also THE Smallest Dude in the Division, By a Mile...For By Faaaaaaaaaaaaaar the Largest Purse of his Boxing Career...Doesn't Require Much Passion to Jump on an Opportunity as Such, Bruh... In a Weird Way, Thurman and Pacquiao "Cherry Picked" Each Other... Yes, We as Boxing Fans Go OVERBOARD Quite a Bit, but Ultimately Thurman has No One to Blame But HIMSELF... REED
Thurman's Resume is Better for Sure, But RECENCY Matters Doub... Jose Benavidez is BETTER Than Anyone Keith Thurman's Fought in the Last 2 Years...Crawford's Fought 5-6 Times in that Span... REED
I doubt Pac is stopping Thurman. Prime Pac would sure as Hell stop Thurman, but Pac just doesn't get stoppages anymore. I think this is gonna be a close, controversial fight.
