Highly recommend this if you have not yet seen it (on Netflix). Good stand-up routine from one of the greatest ever SNL cast members.

I have never been a fan of Dana Carvey, but will give this one a try.

 

I'm guessing cause he's a lib?

Has there been a funny conservative comedian in history? I cant think of one.

Dennis Miller, that guy was as funny as liver cancer.

 

Miller funny meter was a 2 out of 10 even in his lib days...

then he turn all conservative/ right-wing blowhard after 9-11....... not a funny skin cell in his body....

I wouldn't call Carvey a lib. That certainly does not come through in his act. He makes fun of politicians but he is not some rabid partisan like Alec Baldwin.

 

Exactly! Clearly, it is Bosnian blood which flows through Carvey's veins and fuels his genius, not the corpuscles of a mere SERB

 

No, it isn't about politics at all. I just don't find most of his humor and mannerisms effective. BTW I watched the whole special. It was okay, particularly when he talked about Millennials and his teenager son. Still not a fan.

And I don't like Dennis Miller at all. The guy is just not funny.
