Tonight on Fox right before the PPV starts. Lee is garbage from what I've seen. Plant will probably stop this clown.
But in all seriousness, he sucks. If Plant can school Uzcat, he should have no problems with this bum.
Uzcat, sounds like some sort of feral feline. Plants a big dude and a good fighter. I think one of these guys might be ready to make a move now that Kovalev and GGG are nearing the end.
Plant, Benavidez, and Callum Smith are the three best supermiddleweights. On paper, Plant would be an underdog against both, but he can't be ruled out against them. I probably would take Smith and Benavidez over him though.
Plant just destroyed that dude. Caleb has become a quality fighter... better than any of us thought he would be. I bet a certain juicing Ginger would have all type of problems with Plant.
Ginger Pale would do well to avoid these tall athletic men...........he's walking around at 170 I bet.
Lee reminded me of Peter McNeely...........goofy look on his face and his futile physique and totally false outward self-belief. He got floored and then blessed himself.........go away mate.
Bunch of melon pickers and failed locksmiths on this record. I detest guys like this. Good athletes who are trying to fool and feint their way into a pay cheque or a big TV date, living off their instagram accounts. Third knockdown is an absolute riot. That dude had never boxed.
Agreed. Lee was giving off the McNeely vibe to me as well. At least McNeely can say he was dropped by one of the all time great punchers. Plant isn't a big hitter, but Lee made him look like Bob Foster out there. A total bum. But on another note, I'm really looking forward to a Plant vs Benavidez unification next year.
Back in the late 1990's I had 50 fights I think I was looking forward to and most of them were at 147-168 Now I don't know if I could get 10 fights down on a piece of paper that have a good chance of coming off and that I really give a shit about. I want some sort of certainty at 160-175.........If it was reasonable for people to demand that GGG fight Ward then it's reasonable to see Canelo fight Smith or Plant
I don't give a shit about Canelo tbh. He's important to the sport in that he's the biggest star, but he's not GOOD enough for me to deem him as super important, because I don't think see him as a top 5 P4P guy. I don't care about him being in the mix at 168. I'd be more interested in Plant-Benavidez unifying, then fighting Callum Smith for the undisputed belt. But Callum is with Fast Eddie, and Plant/Benavidez are with PBC, so that ain't happening. I would be interested in Canelo vs Smith. Canelo was getting touched up by Callum's smaller, shittier brother.
I just want to see Canelo Armstrong take on somebody that his fatness spurt style can't contend with.
There is a styles thing to consider, Jacobs is not a short sweaty meat-handed guy either. Jacobs is slick enough. Sure he's no pea but generally anybody GGG drops he fucks up, and Jacobs seemed good enough to be the exception to the rule. Plus, as happened with Clenelo himself, boxers do improve a bit over time. I wouldn't rule it out., and of the course the A beat B beat C beats A thing needs to be borne in mind. Clenelo is also the sort of guy who is going to just slip overnight too.
Chenko doesnt have enough power to deter the Ginger, and he's there to be tagged. If anyone at 160 is gonna beat Canelo, it'd be Andrade.
Sadly, I could see that scenario. Andrade has the physical talent to beat Canelo cleanly, but he takes his foot off the gas too much. He'd probably win 7-5, but we all know a 7-5 type of fight will go to the Ginger everytime.
This was a Stay Busy Fight for Caleb Plant... The Winner of Quillin-Truax was Supposed to Be Plant's Mandatory, but their No Decision Mandates a RE Next Month... REED
