Ha. But how likely is it that Spurs, Chelski or Man Utd close the gap on Liverpool and Citeh? All three have regressed. No consistency.

Arsenal are addressing their issues. In the meantime, Harry Kane is being monged off by a 16 year old. I hope Klopp beats his fucking ears off. Kane is alright, he's not this superstar Shearer thinks he is, but he's an alright bloke.

Lukaku out. Dybala in. At United.

    That actually makes sense.

Harvey Elliot. Silly boy. Blame his mates also who recorded him and wanted all to see on Youtoob. Doesn't look good that it was caught on camera but we've all done stupid shit when we were younger.

Kane's the best English striker since Shearer for sure. Could well beat his record, if he stays injury free.

I think last season Fulham spent around £100 mill and still went down. Newcastle in 2015/16 went down after spending nearly £100 mill. No guarantee Villa stay up of course but I give them a better chance of doing so than Sheffield Utd and Norwich.

The sooner you accept Aston Villa as your new Kings, the easier they will be on you

Haha. I really like Villa and their history. European Cup winners, multiple first division titles, multiple FA cup trophies and they've had some good players play for them over the years.

I think basically money is now irrelevant in football thanks to the TV deal: it´s pretty much a case of identify whom you want and pay the price it takes.

In all honesty I think Leicester will be the ones laughing more. I rate Maguire to a degree but £80m? Not so sure. Great business for Leicester. Seems quite desperate from Man Utd this signing.

Agreed re Maguire, Dybala could prove another Di Maria if he agrees to it, I doubt he's that enthused about not playing in the CL with a bit of a work in progress.

Another ´powerful statement of ambition´ from ManU to strengthen their defence has finally happened....which was almost two months in the making when Leicester first asked for £80m.
He’s solid, nothing more nothing less - and he´ll struggle once the reality of Matic and Pogba in front hits home.

ManU negotiating skills, really outfoxed Leicester here :D

Seems to be a trend of late with Man Utd splashing the cash and players flopping...Fred, Lukaku, Sanchez, Pogba, Depay, Di Maria. Maguire may well be next in line and Dybala.

Maguire just isn't that good. I like the guy, he's COMPETENT depending on who he is playing for, he can do a job I guess, but an £80m defender? Lol fuck no.

Now that all eyes will be on him, all that scrutiny, the pressure of being the most expensive defender in history and having to prove it, it's a lot to handle for an average to good player at best.

If VVD continues to excel at Liverpool then the likes of Madrid and PSG are going to come knocking and put in bids that will make that figure look like peanuts. Alexander-Arnold, Koulibaly, Varane, de Ligt could all go for mega bucks too in years to come.

I don't see Dybala going to United. Would it really be a wise move for him? Does he really want to join them? I think he's better off at Juve and he knows it deep down.

Maybe I give him too much credit but I don't think he would go there. PSG especially not as what do they have to offer? Shite league, shite fans, he's already won the CL, there's nothing of interest. Real would have been an attractive proposition a few years ago admittedly but they're on a steep downward spiral, Ronnie has gone, the rebuilding process is gonna take a while.

Basically I think Van Dijk is more interested in bettering himself than just going where the money is, if it isn't a step up he's not gonna do it.

I had a drunk stagger out the main tim pub in partick last night as i was passing, latch his attention on me and start showering me with strange compliments, albeit a wee bit aggressively: 'wow you're striding mate, striding' then sped up to walk at my pace.....then 'man you look cool as fuck i love it, beautiful'......over friendly/mouthy bam possibly eccied, no issue ...but then 'amazing love it.....i wanna go get my hole way you!' aye? erm no tonight brian places to be but you have a good one. Its gotta be these pink and neon adidas trainers.
