Eduoard, really good player, probably our best now (faint praise)....but fuck me, you cant play 1 upfront with a guy whos allergic to the 6 yard box. Forrests on the wing! Cross arrives on cue! Eduoard bursts into a leisurely jog to break into the D. Aw man the frustration, its like still being at work

    ManU is in ruins.

Incredible how five back-to-back victories in meaningless games convinced them to offer Solskjaer a long contract

Shock result. Falling 1-0 behind, missing a pen, equalizing late on then conceding late on. They have to bounce back from this. If Solskaer doesn't get them in the top 4 then he's out.

One top four finish in the last 4 seasons for Man United ... who would've imagined that a decade ago?

Not sure if this is just a local thing this year but it feels like every other weekend since june has been pride weekend. Flags every where, restaurants, streets, pubs building sites, shop fronts, without let up - Ive got severe pride fatigue and just cant be made to get proooder. You're here, you're queer, we're already completely used to it, now chill out & fuck off. They've gotten as bad as the orange walk.

Great day, what a difference the sun makes and it makes me wish we'd follow the scandanavians and just switch to summer fitbaw. Bayo looks like the proper number 9 penalty box striker we need though too early to guage the overall quality of his game yet

What Ben Stokes did yesterday might just have sealed his Knightood and his SPOTY award.

That was really one of the ATG sporting moments.

I managed to catch a good bit of the final overs. England were dead and buried. How Stokes managed to pull that off I'll never know. It was like the World Cup all over again. He deserves to be Knighted but I wonder if he will be after all the off-pitch stuff.

Stokes is a great player, has bailed England out in two different formats now. Some of the shots he was attempting, let alone pulling off, were insane.

I was sat there watching it...........I've no interest in cricket per se but this redefined "sticky wicket"...............Atherton quoted McAulay in todays Times.........."Now who will stand on either hand,. And keep the bridge with me"...........it really was "Epic" in so many senses of the word..........Stokes stood there with his goofy sidekick Leach, his glasses fogging up under his helmet, with Leach landing sneak blows and Stokes wailing away with the riskiest of haymakers, finding the target everytime.......and then the Aussies cracking, using up all their reviews and then dropping the ball..........with that final guttural roar when he hit the final 4.

I thought it was great entertainment and pageantry and real walk-the-line stuff.

Archer had tried to do the same when he came out, swinging.....but he's lower order and inexperienced so he walked sooner rather than later, understandably.

The Queens own grandkids have been in more trouble than Stokes ever has and they all got looked after. Fuck it her son was banging around with a convicted Pedo.

Stokes bashed somebody that was pestering a queer friend.
