To me the funniest shit I watched was an old late 70s Bill Cosby stand up. No cussing, no attacking anyone, clean jokes, yet my guts hurt so much from laughing so hard.

I own a cassette tape of a rare Eddie Murphy stand up that he did before Delirious. I think it’s better than Raw but not as good as Delirious.

Chapelle is now a Far Right racist.

It goes birdshot, buckshot, birdshot, and then buckshot, buckshot, buckshot. So the gun turns Jamaican

That right there is bird shot.

But that won't kill a man...

My dad wouldn't give me three dollars so I had to go to the penny jar. As I was counting all the pennies for the three dollars for the entrance fee for the dance, that was the only time I thought about KILLING EVERYBODY AT SCHOOL

I like Silverman. Don't really like Lampanelli or Schumer.

I think Maria Bamford is funny as hell.

Iliza Schlesinger used to be funny, but she's leveled out to become only about tolerable now.

Whitney Cummings is hit and miss

Jen Kirkman and Chelsea Peretti, I find pretty funny.

I think Louis C.K. should be in the conversation. Shit, he's the guy everybody else was stealing from for years, before he finally broke out.

  16. What about Dave Chappelle?

I like Regan and Gaffigan a bit.

    Never really liked Jeni.

Mulaney is hit and miss for me. My kid really likes him a lot.

Chappelle is pretty great. Not sure I'm ready to crown him GOAT, but he's owning the fact that many stand-up comedians on a certain level are supposed to make people uncomfortable, when most other stand-ups are becoming uncomfortable with the backlash against that idea.

I haven't seen the most recent one yet. His last couple specials that he released at the same time a little while back, were kind of disjointed and lazy to me, especially compared to a lot of his earlier stuff.

I think he's finally enjoying cashing paychecks. Something he felt guilty about earlier in his career.

It's been a long time since I've seen one of her sets. Don't really have much of a memory of her.

  21. I like Chappelle but 'Sticks & Stones' was hit & miss, really.

I would say these are my top 4.

    1- Pryor
    2- Murphy
    3- Redd Fox
    4- Carlin

I like Chapelle but I’m not sure he’s the GOAT.

  23. No fuckin clue who Redd Fox is and I'm sure none of you cunts do either.

He might be unknown amongst you limeys, but every American of a certain age knows who Redd Fox is.

  25. Anyone over 40, who watched Sanford & Son and I doubt there's many of those here...

  26. So I rewatched 'Sticks & Stones'

    8/10

I like a lot of the guys mentioned and would add Jim Jeffries and a new guy to the scene I like is Andrew Schultz.

Does anyone else like watching comedy specials at like 2 in the morning when they are super tired?
