That's why I was getting angrier and angrier as the fight went on. Campbell was clearly working in fashion designed to be translated into some Dogs of War bullshit by a willing scribe on a shitty website or three.

Campell was also on the verge of getting KO'd by a guy half his size no fewer than three times.

As expected, Lomachenko wins to add the WBC lightweight title to his WBA and WBO belts.

The Ukrainian nods approvingly at Campbell. On paper, its a dominant win but everyone watching knows that was brilliant stuff from Campbell who just came up against someone who is almost unbeatable.

Lomachenko is determined to finish with a flourish and he's aggressive from the outset. A body shot from Campbell is low and Lomachenko is not happy with that. Has it just stirred the hornet's nest? Campbell lands a couple of punches but Lomachenko responds with a flurry that is only halted when Campbell almost rugby tackles his opponent.

The bell goes for the end of the round and there's a huge cheer from the crowd. Lomachenko has won this but Campbell has absolutely done himself proud.

A good body shot gets through from Campbell but whenever a punch connects Lomachenko's response is more often than not fierce and that's the case in round 11.

Lomachenko gets in a couple of body shots before a Campbell is dropped by a straight punch. Campbell takes the knee before managing to get back up and getting through to the end of the round, but only just.


Yeah I must have been watching a totally different fight.
