Just watched the new special... still find him hilarious... people are bugging out about the MJ jokes and while I believe those two guys, I didn't think it was that bad at all ... he's a comedian and he's not a Jeff Foxworthy comedian

The guy worked for Hart. If that’s what happened he more likely lost control not from laughing uncontrollably but doing too good of a job pretending too. Remember, Hart’s not funny but this guy does work for him.

 

eddie murphy is supposed to be coming out with a netflix special. which i suspect will bomb, and also a sequel or remake to coming to america.

as for Sticks and Stones, best line was when he was talking about abortion laws. "If you can kill this motherfucker, i can at least abandon him!"

 

He said its tough to try out new material cuz ppl will laugh at anything he does or says

 

What he said makes sense to me. Anyone who goes to see him may be in awe and laugh no matter what he does

 

That's how I see it as well. His "performance" on the SNL anniversary thing suggested there's that kind of fear thing going on. Understandable to be honest.

I went to a Chris Rock "testing" four years ago. He was fuckin hilarious.

 

That was one of the weirder episodes. Eddie didn't seem the slightest bit comfortable, until near the end.

They talked a bit about Pryor and Bill Cosby to, which was pretty interesting.

 

Yeah, a bit. Seinfeld's much more comfortable in public.

I like when guy's like Jim Carrey and other's ask him if being recognized all the time bothers him, and he basically goes, "What are you crazy, that's what I signed up for. How do you think I get to drive this sweet ass car?".

 

The bit about Planet Of The Apes and then-raging Bubbles locked up in a cage was funny.

 

Yeah, yeah, I think Jerry got more out of Eddie then anybody else has in about 2 decades.

 

Could you imagine a Carlin standup in today’s political and social media climate? Shit would be hilarious.

 

Lee's a great stand-up, unique. Politics are just another in-road to an eventual punchline in his routine rather than an overlying theme.
