Yea, but in the end credit sequence it turned out it was just a bad dream. His mum was alive the whole time and his dad was diddlin' him while he was in a coma. Sad stuff. Oh, and they introduce a new character for the next movie, called simply, "The Diddler".

Of course you liked it. A socially awkward, psychotic white kid who murders his entire family after getting rejected. You had a flashback to your childhood.
Yeah it wasn’t pretty lame. Some very basic character development, nothing deep. You watch the kid go from teen, to jerk off puberty teen, to outright lack of empathy ala Donald Trump teen. It was low budget so not much CGI. In fact you don’t always get to see him actually using his powers and often when you do it’s usually just a shot of him floating in the air. This story is so light anyone of us could have wrote it and the movie while okay has zero replay value. 5/10. The end credits cut-in scenes were some of the best parts of the film, and that’s not a good thing.
I recently realized you must not know how simple it is so I’ll teach you. When you’re in the movie thread or whatever thread you want to do your search if you look in the upper right hand corner you’ll see a box that says search. Just type in whatever movie title you’re looking for check the little drop down box that says “title only” and press search. Had you done that before making a new Bright Burn thread it would have listed the original one that I made and that you were first to reply in. Now seeing as how all that takes less time than it takes to make an actual new thread I’m sure we can expect you’ll start working on being a better poster that we can all be proud of. Unless of course you want to hold on to that trolling persona you seem to insist on which I have no doubt will wind up being the case.

Watched this last night. Good movie but felt that it was too short. They could have done more with it and made it even better. In the beginning when they showed a spaceship crash landing to Earth, they didn't need to do that, IMO. Instead, the boy could have grown up and found the ship himself and learned about who he is. I know they kind of did it but they could have done that differently. Perhaps the parents could have adopted him through the correct procedures and then both they and the kid later learn about who he really is. So they didn't originally know he had come from outer space. It just moved very quickly. The transition between him being a good kid one minute to evil the next, that also moved too quickly I felt.
