My collection is a treasure trove; a colossal monument to my superior taste

The most incredible orchestral playing ever captured in a live performance... just a couple of months from the old master's death, riddled with cancer, he leads the utterly peerless ensemble he practically created from nothing; even if you know nothing of classical music and would like an example of the very limits of ensemble precision and virtuosity, this is the one to hear. 80-90 people playing like this just isn't normal

Only in Japan, do they send up a pair of little girl Samurai to greet the conductor... what a weird place

    "Empire Burlesque... classic!"

"The Road East" ... ugh what a pretentious twat ... that's like a perfect microcosm of why Jackson Browne needs his fucking face sandblasted

  10. See?
This is a perfect example of turning a 'trying-to-be-clever-but-actually-it's-really-shit' thread and making it great (from post #2, as well!)

    Well played, everyone!

Empire Burlesque? Classic? According to whom? Please fall off a roof low enough for you to survive and lay aware of your now paralyzed limbs.

Yes. But not before several hours of agony and unanswered cries for help.

The best part of that is just somebody hearing it, looking, seeing a guy with arms and legs clearly broken but saying to themselves "hmmm... I better not get involved"

Of course, I don't know if you'd even cry for help... probably pass out from the pain

Yes. They are unanswered but not necessarily unheard. Some passersby may even stop to observe your suffering, experiencing unexpected delight in seeing you writher from the pain.

  20. I'd walk by and throw $50 worth of bills at cdogg's broken body, casually remark "I've wiped my ass with those", then continue walking, chuckling uncontrollably to myself on the way to an '8:30 res. at Dorsia'
