I haven't seen a whole lot of Norm apart from the Weekend Update stuff and interviews on TV shows or podcasts, but I liked what I saw. Haven't seen any of his stand up but have been meaning to check it out, just been lazy.

 

Finally caught the new Chappelle special. It was leagues better then the last couple he dropped. Material was a lot tighter.

I watched the whole thing last night. Pretty 5 star i must say, a lot of s in that

 

Using Rotten Tomatoes for stand-up specials to give any sort of meaningful commentary is stupid.

Chappelle, the biggest stand-up around right now, garnered 13 reviews, and that's about the most you will find for almost any stand up special. I couldn't even find a listing for his last Netflix special.

That shitty "Dark Phoenix" movie has 347 reviews to cull info from.

 

But Rotten Tomatoes is symbolic of what a LOT (if not all) progessive/liberal media are making this Chappelle special out to be.

The audience reviews prove otherwise.

 

I believe MJ did it, just not to those two guys. Also Dave's gotten heat for the LBGTQ jokes, which I found funny. The line about the Q in booty shorts leaning in the window saying to those in the car, "I don't know where I'm going, but I really wanna get in this car" was HILARIOUS.

 

He's got a show on netflix

 

Supposedly Gary Owen has a new stand up on Showtime and there’s been some rumblings about it being the greatest standup of all time. Those rumblings are mostly coming from Gary Owen, but still.

Correction* All those rumblings are coming from Gary Owen.

 

Gary Owen is as funny as childhood leukemia.

 

Which can actually be funny if tackled by the right comedian in the right way.
