That looks shitty....maybe because it doesn't looks like a Rambo movie...it looks like Bourne mixed in with some Law abiding citizen with some Taken ....

    Rambo with a lethal jacket.......

A Rambo prequel that shows him joining the Army and going to Vietnam would be tight.

I hope Stallone keeps the title promise of 'last blood' and have Rambo dying at the end.

Those wounds on his back dont look promising for Rambo. This has Logan written all over it.

I’m skipping this. It’s turned into average B movie shit, as opposed to when it was great B movie shit that at least sported a young charismatic star.

Why kill off the character? The last movie when he finally went home should have been the end.

Normally I’m a big proponent of the hero having to die but it would feel anticlimactic here to me.

Maybe sly knows that if he doesnt kill off the character he will keep making the movies.

I think at this stage Stallone needs to have a coke and a smile.

He didnt spend all that money and years on HGH to be in a rocking chair at this age. My dude is 73 is still rocking it.

Critics are hating this film for all the wrong reasons. Somehow this film has offended the SJW PC crowd and they are attacking it as a RACIST, XENOPHOBIC, PRO-GUNS, MISOGYNIST film. WTF? Is just fucking Rambo! There is no 'Alt-Right agenda' behind it! Read these sample reviews lines:

"[It] is less an escapist action movie and more a dramatized manifestation of the most notorious sentences from Donald Trump's presidential campaign announcement speech." - Matthew Rozsa Salon.com

"The latest (and hopefully final) Rambo film is instead a dour, repetitive, xenophobic and borderline unwatchable bloodbath."
    - Brandon Zachary CBR

"[Feels more like] a generic Taken knock-off goosed up with some half-hearted Mexican-border xenophobia that can't even muster the energy to commit to that base level of thematic coherence." - Bob Chipman Escapist Magazine

"Rambo: Last Blood is basically Taken meets Home Alone, only racist." - Hope Madden Columbus Underground

"Racist AND misogynistic... If only Stallone would go back to working with talented & exciting new directors like Ryan Coogler on Creed."
    - Grace Randolph Beyond the Trailer

"In 2019's hypersensitive cultural environment, the depiction of murderous Mexican crime bosses and their cowering sex slaves encountering a literal white savior doesn't go down so easy." Eric Kohn Indie Wire

While the current RT critics score is a 30% rotten, audiences apparently liked the film giving it a solid 84% fresh...because the film delivered exactly what the fans expected from John Rambo, not a Snowflake Greta Thundberg version.

Come on bro. At some point even Rambo’s going to hit a point where him killing people will require a level of belief that is too difficult to muster due to his age. This shit can’t go on forever without at least some CGIing or bringing in a replacement.

Can you believe this USA Today headline?
Is Rambo: Last Blood any good? Critics are calling it a "MAGA fantasy' "orgy of death' and in the article quotes critics slamming the movie as a 'Trumpian fantasies of Mexican rapists and hillarious insecure border' and " 'Last Blood' is clearly an attempt to cash in on Trump-era fears of immigrant invasion..." These idiots are giving Don Quixote a run for his money as they see more giants than Sancho Panza saw windmills!

Doesn't matter in Hollywood if they figure there's more that can be milked.

They would just create it in a different timeline before the character died. Something something ... "A Rambo Story" or some such shit.

  24. Watched it last night and obviously not in the same upper echelon of First Blood or even the comical Rambo: First Blood PtII, it's a modern-day, run-of-the-mill action-kill movie with elements of Taken/The Equalizer.

    6/10

  28. Ultra-violent, kids & women being blown to bits?

Yeah, it was better than this one.

    This was like 'Rambo-Lite'

The movie came in third place this weekend in a virtual tie with Brad Pitt's AD Astra at $19.2 million which is just one million more than the debut of the prior Rambo. 'Downtown Abbey' beat both films with $31 million. Now, that was brutal!
