Exactly and I think they should enforce a limit on peoples luggage. It's a public service, not a convenience for people who are leaving or entering the country. Or else get special carriages and if they are full you wait for the next one. People who work in London need a seat and shouldn't lose out to tourists who won't pay the taxi or coach fare into London.

Piccadilly line is a total joke in many other regards. Acton Town is always a nightmare. Because the recruitment of drivers is basically driven by the mindset of a Blairite stooge, none of them really know how to feather the train to a stop at the sidings and so they keep wrecking the tyres on the wheels. Think back a few years with that "leaves on the track" issue.

Utter nightmare getting from Uxbridge down to Sudbury Hill.........3 trains every two hours or something at one point. They had no tyres cos the drivers were wrecking them all sliding on the leaves.

Lol na fuck that, I was one of those people a couple of weeks ago, you really appreciate it when you need it and you're shattered. Also the Hounslow branch is usually really frequent so I don't mind missing the odd train and getting on the next one.
