Weird when you think of some of the actors who came through Neighbours and Home and Away and went on to become superstars - Heath Ledger, Margot Robbie, Guy Pearce... The only one I remembered actually watching was Russell Crowe when he was the bully guy (I think he must be contracted to punch someone or have a fight in any movie/TV show he appears in).

Australian Soaps that would be broadcast in the UK, around mid-day so you'd only catch them if you were a schoolkid, a student or unemployed. The shows are really PG and pretty awful but you'd still get sucked in anyway. Basically, any antipodean actor you've ever heard of would have cut their teeth on one of these shows.

I would crawl across broken glass to suck the dick of the last man to fuck Tess Daly.

Rumours that Olly is being replaced at United. Daily Fail rumours, probably BS.

Rumours also that DDG is crocked to bits after being subbed in last nights 1-1 draw with Sweden.

I know. Aging is a cunt, and it's especially bad to certain women, the Scots that have craggy faces don't age well. They look loike shoite.

Tess Daly is ageless. Vernon Kay must be a right dummy to be creeping around behind her.

Michaela was legit lovely in the early 90s, no idea what Hut is on about.

But yeah, Tess Daly is something else.

How do you think it'll go on Sunday, Irish? Is De Gea out? Surely you've got this one, no?

All of them, around the very end of the 1980's and those first few years of the 1990's had that exact same feel to them.........that new class of cunt that the rules didn't apply to .....Packham, Woss, Terry Christian, Mark Lamar, Reeves and Mortimer, Julian Clary ....etc. Definite changing of the Guard, visible now in technicolour but probably very subtle at the time. Parky, Wogey, Dimbleby etc all shuffled to the back of the deck on Radio 2 or whatever.

You are literally asking the least confident, most doubtful Liverpool fan ever born.

I just made some money on the side and I will have a few quid down on United or Draw.

We ain't won at Old Toilet since 2014. Rashford looked good midweek. Van Dijk needs to be on his shit.

Can't see us winning but could get a draw.

Nobody says "Lorry" in the USA though do they.

When I was in school, "Daddy drives a Lurry" was an actual job description tendered by kids who were asked what their fathers did.

I've got no opinion on them per se, but I was just noticing the sort of cocksure, "Fuck you I'm cool" kind of mentality that crept in around that period in presenting. Loads of these guys suddenly started getting airtime. Kind of the same today where WOKE presenters like Oluosaga and that weirdo from the HSBC ads are now Sui Generis. Terry Christian in particular just came across as a really smug "clever" bastard, as borne out by his later media appearances where he still thought he was 24 and "With it".

Used to watch it in my Grannys place back in the mid 80's

I used to ask her "Do you watch Monkey often" like being an OAP, with no work to do, and constant access to a TV with British channels, watching Monkey is something she would naturally avail of as often as possible.

Fucking kids eh lol lolo lol

Coincidentally, Ah used tae watch it at ma Granny's place as well but a wee bit earlier (must've been the turn o' the decade). Monkey had 48 episodes split between two series and wiz made from '79 tae' 81. Ah have the album of music from the series from 'Godiego'.

A sad fact is that the beautiful lassie wi' the bald heid who played the male monk (v confusing) 'Trippitaka', died o' leukaemia in '85.
