I don't think Flour is the killer per se. Salt is and sugar doesn't help.

Tbh ive never been anywhere where people seemed much more or less friendly than anywhere else on average. The biggest factor, practically, is their attitude towards you not speaking the language- usually that varies more within countries than between (with more international cities and capitals being easier than regional cities).

She'd be pretty wealthy anyway off her own salary but her husband's a lawyer so between the two of them, they're doing well

My sister made her own way in this world. She didn't need to "marry up" and my brother-in-law definitely doesn't think any different... he's a good guy

As a point of order, glesga's been voted friendliest city in the world variously by rough guides, time out and big7 travel. So there.

After such a promising start to the season, Norwich really are struggling now. Early days still but it's looking more like they'll go down.

Haggis is actually really nice. I know that's the cliche Scottish food but I do really like it. You're dead wrong about Italian food though, it's not just pizza and stuff, the seafood in Rome is delicious.

Don't worry Jimmy the women don't either. I mean, we are talking about people who think they "sold out" Wembley this weekend.

Seafood always is. I mean even when it is "Farmed" it's not quite the same as "Farmed" beef or chickens.

Anybody watching Dulwich vs Carlisle, its free on the BBC2.

On BBC 1, we have clever cunts like Helen Lewis and Ian Hislop, so the FA Cup it is.

Haggis is delish tho mainly as a side dish, really. Aye you'll definitely find lovely, real food in italy, same as anywhere else; its just slightly harder. And harder again to get a decent reasonably priced meal on the hop.

This mornings free breakfast in our italian hotel - croissants cut thru with chocolate sauce. The two alternatives- chocolate CAKE or those horrible rock hard bits of white toast/bread that explode into a cloud of crumbs when you bite them. I mean honest to fuck.

I'm still in massive disagreement with you over Italian food overall but I have to say I'm with you on the cake for breakfast thing, I found that really weird.

Should be having surgery to repair my fucked up ear drum some time next year. Can't wait, the whole of 2018 I haven't been able to use headphones at all, it's been horrible. All my synths just been gathering dust, just want to get playing again. Fuckin hate hospitals.

    Yikes. How did that happen?

My old man is nearly deaf in one ear, blown out by an iggy pop gig at the barras. Which is a pretty cool reason to be deaf at least

I've always had problems with it since school (another kid fell on my ear when we were doing rugby in PE and it was one of those where the air gets pushed in). So the hearing has never been great, but in January it suddenly started bleeding and it turns out there is a massive hole in the ear drum. I have no idea what caused it this time but they said it could be scar tissue from previous perforations.

Hopefully, complications galore though. Can certainly be improved from its current state which is ok for me.
