The DUI won't get cancelled, but Spence won't do any time off it.

He'll just have to pay a fine - a fine that would be substantial for a normal guy, but chump change for what Spence makes.

His license will also be suspended for prob like 6 months, because it's his first offense (it'd be a year if it was second). Again, that would be a big deal for a normal person with a 9-5 job 5 days a week, but Spence doesn't have a 9-5 job, so it's no big deal for him.

In other words, DUIs are a big deal for normal guys. They mean nothing to celebrities.

Big deal. Caligula has driven home hundreds of times when he was hovering around .3

Well if his recent posting around here is anything to go by, he drove home just once too often like that. Wound up pulling a Ryan Dunn on it.

He was bragging on his Instagram that he was a savage for not having any broken bones. Looks more and more like a total idiot

The Post Has Since Been Removed and is Being Blamed on Someone w/Access to Spence's Account:D...

But Yeah, it was THE Worst Possible 1st Statement You Could Make After an Incident as Such...

Hopefully this experience changes him for the better after some reflection.

According to Rick Glaser, the report about Spence coming away from the crash unscathed was a PBC spin job, and a reliable source told him Spence is unlikely to ever fight again.

    It sounds believable to me.

REED, do you have any inside info at all on his TRUE condition?

Makes me think he is in fact career-ending injured.

If he wasn't, they would have no reason to spin/hide anything.

Even IF he fights again, it's almost 100% that his prime is over.

Oh, and for what it's worth - Spence posted on his Instagram story the other day, "I give up" with a sad face. He quickly deleted it though.

Well if he does indeed have career ending injuries, they’ve definitely been able to keep it under wraps for a while.

Though I thought I read somewhere that Errol was in Jamaica with his family.

    None...

REED's Communicated with Spence Sr. and EJ's Sister, But They've Been Pretty Tight Lipped On His Actual Condition...

"He's Going to Be Fine, We Appreciate Your Thoughts/Prayers, We'll Be in Touch" Type of Shit...EJ Got Presidential Level Security During his Hospital Stay and Only a LIMITED Number of People Actually Got to See Him There...

    That's Literally ALL REED Knows...

Being Optimistic, EJ was Scratched Up Pretty Good and Probably Doesn't Want to Make a Public Appearance or Get Face Time Until They've Healed Up...

The response, or lack of, by Spence is worrying and I also think it may be something really serious.

His PR team can handle that dumb “savage” response by saying one of his friends posted that or that he was loopy off painkillers or whatever, but his team has been real quiet and we haven’t seen how Spence looks. The video of the accident is scary and luckily, nobody was killed.

There already had been some talk around boxing of Spence having problems with the bottle before the accident...have you seen or heard anything of the sort?

Wilder-Ortiz II Will Be Telling in that Regard...

PBC Always Has their A-Listers in Attendance for PPV's and Wilder-Ortiz II is in Vegas No Less...As REED Types, he THINKS (HOPES and PRAYS :emoji_pray:) EJ's Just Pulling Back for a Bit, but If He's Not in Vegas on FightNight, That'll Concern REED, Admittedly...

EJ's Actually a FAN of Boxing and He Looooooves a Big Fight, Vegas Atmosphere...To Say the Least, it Would Be Out of Character for Him to MISS an Event as Such...

The Drinking Talk Stems from Spence's Drunken Interview During the Porter-Garcia Post-Fight, Last Year...It was More FUNNY Than Disturbing from REED's Perspective, But Then Nate Jones w/TMT Did a Series of Interviews Specifically Talking about a "Drinking Problem"...The TIMING of it is Fishy Though...

There was a Floyd Interview/Article Where he Spoke Like he was a SHOT CALLER in Spence's Affairs, Saying Words to the Affect of "WE'LL Fight Crawford When Blah, Blah, Blah"..."Al Haymon and I Will Discuss Spence vs. Blah, Blah, Blah"...But When Asked About Floyd's Role/Involvement in His Career, Spence Responded "I've Never Received a Check w/Floyd's Name On It"...

Less Than a Week Later, Nate Jones Speaks Publicly About Spence Having a "Drinking Problem"...

From What REED's Observed, EJ ISN'T a Problem Drinker...The Issue is DOWNTIME...When He's Got a Fight Signed, Whatever Vices Spence Has Don't Seem to Be an Issue; They're Put on Hold...Literally, There'd Be NOfuckingWAY He Could Cut to '47 w/a "Drinking Problem"...Fighting 2wice a Year, Spence Walks Around in the 170's...

Since Winning the Title, EJ's Repeatedly Asked to Fight 3 Times a Year, But it Hasn't Happened...DOWNTIME...

I agree with you, but I believe Chavez Sr was a pretty big drinker and he managed to cut weight all the time. He didn't seem big for 140, though.

True, but Chavez Won his 1st World Title @ 130 and w/Out Looking REED Would Bet he Began His Career Even Lower...

Spence Fought Ammy @ 152, has Cut to '47 His Entire Career and Never Looked Appreciably Fatigued in a Bout...

Maybe He's Got Some FREAKISH, Aaron Pryor Level Ability to PARTY & PERFORM, but it SEEMS Virtually Impossible to Be an Alcoholic, Walking Around in the Mid to High 170's, Cutting to '47 as Spence Does, Showing NO Residual Effects...

And it may also explain why Chavez was already past it in his early 30's

    What a tard post.

Chavez had an exceptionally long prime for a pressure fighter - his prime lasted from 84-92.

Shit, Chavez had a longer prime than Duran - although Duran had a better prime/peak.

Chavez actually had the longest prime of the Latin greats.

I dont think alchool had much to do woth chavez decline, but lets le honest, his 100 fights means barely nothing. Tons of bum and tijuana cab driver in them.

Though, on the other side, it's well known that cells have a lot more trouble recovering from alcohol when your past 30. So if chavez was as much as a drinker as the rumour claims, it surely affected his downfall.

While drinking didn't have much effect of Chavez's prime, I think it affected the prime of Carlos Ortiz - who was a self-admitted alcoholic. Ortiz wasn't always consistent. But when he was ON... he was better than Chavez IMO.
