More than half of them being offside or spot kicks rewarded after a dive.

Ah think Ah've posted an answer tae this before and it ends up wi' the question: 'Who would win in a fight - a prime Gretzky or a prime Ronaldo?' and the conversation duly dies.

In which case - well done CR7 and here's tae the next 11.

    CEE-ARR YOU!

Republic of Ireland miss out on direct qualification.

Wales, Slovakia and Bosnia are our 3 possible opponents.

Got this new Tanita weighing scales with all these new fangled bits and pieces.

    Here's the raw deal.

I weigh way too much....277.8lbs and my water mass is only 45% or some shit....that's about 10% lower than it should be.

    That's the bad news.

The good news is I have a lean muscle mass of around 165lbs...and a basal metabolic rate of 2400 calories.

This means it should be easy to lose the weight initially. A basic walk and sensible eating puts me 1000 calories south of the BMR, which means I am in weight loss territory as of today.

Body Type is 3- high on fat, but also high on muscle. Visceral fat was bang in the middle of the healthy range. That's good too.

So muchachos the Pizza King is dead. Long live Hoosiers Egg White, Plum Tomato and Long walks/bagwork King.

Got a big bag of the above. Yeah, from Amazon. What could I do. I sort of hit a wall last night of annoyance...and had to get it on, I just had to get it on.

So Hoosiers Hill Obesia Powder arrived today.

You take a tablespoon full, blend it with like 30ml of water, throw it on a hot pan and it fluffs up into gigantic eggs, just with no yolk.

Happy Days....I will go to bed now, no more 3 am bust ups over stuff...........start the day with 10mile walk, hit the books, hit the bag a bit, finish with dogwalking at night.

I'll report back in a week.....hopefully I will have dropped a few pounds by then. Been pissing like a racehorse all evening.

Anybody being paying attention or watch any of Italy's qualifiers? 10-0 with +33 goal difference.

Yes, they were seeded and didn't have to face the stiffest competition but a few sides usually good enough to at least make games tight. It's not like they had San Marino, Gibraltar and "Parts Unknown" in their group.

Are they actually a threat or is their qualifying campaign illusory?

Qualifying doesn't always signify much, ask the English who typically glide through qualifying campaigns..having said that I do like this Italian side

Personally i love lidl frozen veg mixes and frozen chicken breasts (5kg for £3). You get loads of these mixes, Italian, Moroccan grain, east asian, lentil curry, & they also do big bags of chopped onion, mushrooms, peppers that you can add. Their frozen paella is good too. Loads of variety basically. Just make a big batch every night with some diced garlic, salt and microwave a bowl when youre hungry. Cheap, healthy, filling, zero effort, winning.

    I've stopped eating mate. lol

No seriously I see where you are coming from...........it's all about having a handy bit of something healthy right there...ready to go.

For example, tonight, there's a half tin of sardines, half a tin of plum tomato, half a tin of baked beans and I will do some egg whites to round it all off. Makes a massive meal of about 400 calories, tops. Absolute tops.

Quitting the big cups of tea though. That's hard.

What's harder is remembering the insane shape I used to be in. 144lbs in College when I was boxing. By contrast I stuck my land lady on the scales today {at her behest} and she came in at 133 with 40% of bodyfat and a bodytype of 1 {secretly obese}. How the fuck I made 144 at 5 foot 9 I will never know. And it wasn't a Canelo 144, it was 144 today, tomorrow and the day after.

Last night I made my final pizza and left it for the psycho Polish housemate.....it was a good exercise in discipline. I never touched a bit of it as I was making it.

    It's all in the head.

    Wish me luck.

England are bum beaters. The Zab Judah of world football. It's only when you gut check them and drag them deep that they struggle....like Columbia at the WC.

But they will smash ANY team that's not with it.

Just my two pence but finding a manageable long term routine thats easy and, after adjustment, pain free - thats the game. Naebodys gonna keep with a life of egg white powder and plum tomatos for long. Will power's pittifully finite, gotta pass the controls to autopilot.

Anyway, random aside: Skyr yoghurts are the beezkneez too, tasty, instant, filling, low calorie, as much protein as a steak. Good hings to have in a fridge to grab at.

Whit Irish could dae wi' they Plum tomatoes is render them doon in a saucepan and add a wee bit o' salt and Italian herbs. Next mix up some floour, yeast, water and more salt befoor kneading taegether fer 10 mins and then leaving fer at least 90 mins. Flatten oot the mix, add they Plum tomatoes and a healthy amount o' shredded mozzarella and bake at a high heat fer 12 minutes.

    A delicious, Plum tomato dish.
