Look, I got a toddler, so I gotta force myself to watch them and pretend for my kid that I'm into them. But in the back of my mind I'm thinking, "Jesus Christ, these movies are fucking lame!"

 

Opinions and tastes vary. I can’t stress enough how childish and immature it looks to continuously shit on those you don’t agree with, especially when it’s unprompted and done in a way to push your differing opinion as cool, hip or smarter.

It’s okay to say you dislike something, but when you have to constantly remind us. Daily. In multiple threads. Daily. I can honestly say that it’s really getting on my last nerve how amazingly fucking cool you are.

I never got into the Marvel Superhero movies. The ones I saw were entertaining enough but nothing I really got into it.

The only superhero movies I really liked a lot were Nolan’s DK trilogy.

Superhero/comicbook based movies is our new Western genre. Back in the day Westerns used to get a bad rap too (most of them sucked to be honest: for every 'High Noon' you got ten 'Billy the Kid vs Dracula'), yet they kept the movie industry thriving even during the big Depression.
