Germany were already qualified but could only stay top the group if they did not drop any points against NI and if the Netherlands failed to win by 3. I take a look at the scores and it's NI 1 Germany 0, and Netherlands 2 Estonia 0. Fuck!

Luckily that was early on in both matches and order was since restored.

Pochettino gets sacked. If i were him i would be relieved. Don't think many other managers could have taken that squad and its limited resources as far as he could. To make matters worse if you're a Spurs fan, some of their best players are either without contract or near the end of them so they won't be cashing in huge if there's an exodus.

Poch going to Man Utd next? Maybe even Bayern although that would be less likely.

A lot of clubs probably want him to take over in January but i think in my mind he should relax and sit back. There will be a lot of offers he can consider.

And now Mourinho has taken over. This is going to end in disappointment and bitterness and everybody knows it.

I pegged the new cleaner at work as a Celtic fan on first sighting, so i just starting telling him about how id managed to get my brother a gold dust old firm ticket for xmas. Normal boring chat ensues, recent games, lazio, cup final ticket ballot blahblah. Then at the end he says 'aye its great tho, my new missus goes to all the games with me now. She never used to like sellik at all but she was baptised catholic 5 years ago so she goes to almost every home game now'. :Gig1: o....k

    Baffling shit. Really.

It's not the sacking per se............that's bad enough. Poch was a guy I came to fear and respect.

    But the replacement? Facking hell.

I used to love that show. I remember constantly pausing the credits on my VCR to read the cheats and stuff.

Lottery winner completes Partick Thistle takeover

EuroMillions lottery winner Colin Weir has completed his takeover of Scottish Championship side Partick Thistle and said he intends to hand over ownership to supporters in 2020.

Weir -- a lifelong Thistle fan -- has bought a majority shareholding and a holding in land at Firhill Stadium, where his team play, but will give the land back to the club.

The 71-year-old will also give his 55% shareholding to a fan group that is in development, with the free transfer of shares taking place "no later than March 30 2020," according to Weir.

I was taking a daft quiz on the bbc website last night, answering moral conundrums and comparing your take to the answers of others. Most were pretty dull, bromidic scenarios like is it ever ok to fake a sicky, cheat on your wife etc. The last one was 'is it ever morally acceptable to kill civilians in a virtual reality simulator?' Me: aye, obviously. Rape them in the eyehole, nuke the whole town, its an fn computer game, have at it. 90% of brits: NEVER morally acceptable. The closest to unanimity of any of ten questions. We're in a lot of trouble, people.

I would like to hear people's explanations behind that.

Maybe the responders just voted it was OK for some of the things because they had done them in the past and have rationalized it. Since the majority of people obviously haven't killed somebody in a virtually reality scenario they were quick to vote "morally unacceptable".

Hut you need to ask yourself what sort of TWATS are {normally} taking those tests mate. Utter twats. Anybody who routinely and religiously hangs around the BBC website for the purposes of anything other than scoffing and heaping scorn on it, or checking the weather, needs immediate help, and a lobotomy.

Chelsea have improved. Like Canelo, they remain Cunts. But they have improved. Period.

City...have slipped. They are 10% off last years pace.

    From the BBC:

'Celtic have been fined £12,900 after fans displayed an "illicit banner" and sang obscene chants during their Europa League game at home to Lazio.

One banner depicted former Italian leader Benito Mussolini hanging upside down.

Another displayed swearing in Italian. It is the 19th time Celtic have been punished since 2007 and their third charge this season.

The Scottish champions were fined £10,400 by Uefa for fans setting off flares in the Europa League win over Cluj and paid an £11,000 fine for their supporters using flares and throwing objects in the play-off second-leg win over AIK in Stockholm in August.'

Celtic and Lazio fined for fans' banner and chants

Im pretty prooood of a high proportion of Celtic's transgressions. The only one i really regret is the violent drunk who ran onto the park only to run straight past neymar - WHO WAS RIGHT THERE TO ASSAULT - then tediously bumble across the entire pitch only to swing a kick at Mbappe? We should've been banned for a fucking year for that idiot.
