    What are they?
    Who had 'em?
    Why are they effective?

If REED's Comprehending What Doub is Attempting to Quantify Here (:Scared:), You Can Automatically EXCLUDE Fighters that Lived/Died w/their Jabs...

Larry Holmes, Joe Louis, Lennox Lewis LIVED By Their Jabs and w/That a RHYTHM, a BEAT was Established...w/That Said, the 'Offbeat' Jabber Would Be the Guy NOT Necessarily Known for Utilizing/RELYING On the Jab on a Fight by Fight Basis...

SHORTER Guys Come to Mind when REED Thinks of 'Offbeat' Jabs...Qawi, Montell Griffin...Dudes that Really Had NOfuckingBUSINESS Landing Jabs, Considering the Fight by Fight Height/Reach DISadvantage They Endured...

Timing, Head Movement, Accuracy, Bravery...A SHORTER Guy Needs a Healthy Dose of Those Ingredients to Jab WITH or OUTJAB a Taller Foe...And He Can't Jab in a Predictable Rhythm Either...

    'Offbeat' Jab???

There's an 'Offbeat', Unpredictable Aspect to ENDING Punching Exchanges w/the Jab as Well...Opponent May or May Not Have Gotten the Better of an Exchange, Nonetheless, Put the Stick in his Grill as He Disengages and Say "Take THAT w/You"...

Vitali did it a lot........he'd throw a left hook as often as a jab and then try to finish on a jab having started on a hook.

    Offbeat Jabber for Sure...

Didn't Rely On it Near as Much as Wlad and Opponents Rarely Suspected It When Vitali Threw It...

Vitali Didnt Jab Much By TALL Guy Standards...Instead He'd Hold His Jab Hand Extended, ala, Roy Jones...

Roy certainly was an irregular jabber.

I bet you can google-image search Roy Jones and you won't find a single picture of him with his chin tucked in behind his left deltoid.

If anyone can find a single photo of Jones doing this..........

....then I would like to see it.
