Is there an agency in Gelsga that can provide, for a fee, at a moments notice, any number of obese blueshirted obscenity-merchants for the delectation of cameras everywhere??

Those 100 presses of the 23kg medicoine ball over my head.............they caught up to me with an absolute vengeance this afternoon/evening.

Monday is cheat day, but I was feeling a bit tight so I went out, did 10 minutes skipping and 5 minutes heavy bag. Just a brisk warmup and get a sweat going.

Went back in and made my dough.

Around 4pm today.........arms and chest and back were just sore and jaded and collapsing off of me.

Could barely manage a 4km walk tonight.....just totally shattered.

Off to bed now. See what tomorrow brings.

In his teenage reprobate days my wee brother once threw an egg through a posh west end window, not knowing who's it was. To everybody's frozen horror, within moments, all 16 stone of Bobo Balde came steaming out the front door like a train and gave chase to the full group. Wee Fergus finally broke off and took refuge in a dim tenement close, hiding in a corner, trembling. Moments later the last of the light coming from the doorway was blocked out by a hulking presence and with nowhere left to run, my man prayed for a quick death. Miraculously he came away alive by explaining he was a Celtic fan and that Bobo was his hero. The story made the Daily Record under the heading : 'BOBO'S GONNAE GET YOU'.

This, in many ways, is how Amazon implants itself in our lives: subtly, seamlessly, insidiously. It appears and it disappears at the same time. First it takes over your bookshelf. Then your music player. Then your food cupboard and the items in your drawers. Then your evenings in front of the television. Self-worth gets delivered promptly to your door within one working day. It’s all so easy, so frictionless, you don’t notice the 30-day trial you forgot to cancel, the data you’re giving away for free, the factory workers denied toilet breaks, the small high street bookshop with closing down signs in the windows.

In many ways, it’s a form of sportswashing as stealthy and cynical as any nation-state could dream up. Like any large corporation trying to monetise your love of football, Amazon is not doing this for love of the game. Football is the conduit, the glossy leafleting campaign, the free cheese samples, the sweets placed tantalisingly by the till. Would I like Amazon to provide a more reliable stream and some more incisive analysis? Yes. But on balance, I think I’d probably rather it just paid more tax.

I spend way more time than is normal watching happy dug stories on yt these days - getting soft as butter in my old age. Abused german sheppard is now the happiest dug in the world. Abandoned pit bull captures 2 year old girls heart. Kayaker finds starving dog left on remote tropical island, takes him him home to colarado. Erra gid dug? Aye yera gid dug, have some chicken

In my whole life I've never seen a badger in London. Obviously seen foxes, hedgehogs and the like but never a badger. They're apparently seen quite a lot in South London though.

Shatford won't do fuck all with Leicester, so Liverpool MUST win.

I saw it and thought what a slow, low, fat cat.

Saw his tail and colouring and how wide he was and realized that we were gonna need a bigger dog.

Albeit that the Welsh Terrier is bred for beating badgers.....my boy is 9 and has nae training. His instinct is all he has, but he got a cat once and then just refused to finish it, like he was the Andrew Golota of dogs. Had him in all sorts of trouble and then quit.

Theres a really weird wee bit of town near me that was 'comprehensively redeveloped' in the 60s where you regularly spot deer and rabbits, especially late or early. Its got mammoth 25 story slab blocks and latterly a bunch of stack em high student blocks but the lay out is bizarrely sparse and suburban with loads of greenery and almost no traffic. Very strange place but great for dog walking.

Around here there's actually a load of side alleys that cut through tower blocks, the rowing club, thameside bank, old abandoned brewerys and cemeteries. Loads of wildlife some of it on two legs as well. The deer all stay in Richmond Park but foxes, cats, rats, parakeets, peregrines...you name it....it's all there. Where I live you can walk for miles without being far away from the throng and at the same time not be within 1000 yards of another human, mainly because the Chiswick side of the bridge is so quiet thanks to the narrow and convoluted walkway.

There was actually a book produced about the "laneways of Sheen" and the alley at the back of my house was known as "Shitting Alley" ....all the houses here were built for brewery workers. All of them £1m and over now lol

Getting a bev for these games here is a bit of a mission, tbh. Basically the whole south side gets segregated - rangers get several square miles of tenement lined high streets & a hundred and two good pubs, we get asda superstores, semi detached housing and two pubs easily mistaken for bomb shelters. A legacy of better times for Ra Peepul, much like the Sellik end not having a fucking roof for a full century.
