Arum says he has inside info that Spence will not be fighting anytime in near future (2020 and possibly 2021). So he is talking about matching Crawford up with Porter.
Crawford could legit beat alvarez in a boring fight, but most likely he'd lose a decision And ESPN wouldnt be cool with dazn televising it
Exactly right. For the same reason that Roberto Duran would have beaten the hell out of Carlos Zarate
That's a bad comparison. Duran was both a bigger man than Zarate AND a better fighter. Canelo is not better than Crawford... only bigger.
Joe Tessitore keeps referring to Conlan as "Irish Mick." I know Cdogg is watching saying "This ginzo thinks he's slick, huh?"
I hope that alchy Spence is watching this kicking himself in the head for blowing what likely would have been a win for him. Bud is hurtable.
Lol first time Crawford goes orthodox he drops Sabonis He should have fought orthodox the entire fight
Seems that everybody struggles in turn. Loma didn't shine against Campbell, Spence had his hands full with Porter, Inoue took bruises against Donaire, Crawford lost some early rounds, Prograis lost. Do we assume that nobody is good, or should we concentrate more on the level of the opposition and the end results? I didn't see much trouble with Crawford's performance tbh. He got hurt a bit, he came back and turned it around. That's boxing. His problem is the very lacking welterweight resume, which is why I wouldn't rank him to the top 5 of p4p lists
Nothing wrong with struggling or even losing. Problem with Crawford is that he only faces bums, and that his whole p4p claim is about looking good dispatching these bums
Seriously, a prime Spence would have wiped his arse with Crawford. Canelo at 160? Forgedaboudit. He'd straight up rape Crawford and stop him with ease.
The Crawford hate on here is strong. He'd spank Crapnelo if they were the same size. Canelo hasn't fought a good southpaw since Lara... I don't think it's a coincidence. But obviously, at 160 Canelo would stop him. He'd have over 20 pounds on Crawford.
The reaction to the Crawford fight is why as boxing fans we get what we deserve. It's two sides of the same coin. If Crawford had won easily, people would be on here over-rating him. As it is, they're acting like he sucks because he got knocked down.
