Trent is a wonderful player, absolutely brilliant. SURELY it has to be Liverpool's title this year, honestly if it was anyone else you'd call it already.

Should win it from here, really can't this incarnation of Liverpool choking or dropping points, unless they lose maybe two of their front players, won't happen.

Injuries aside this ones over. It's not the point gap, it's the way they are playing. Tonight Leicester were like Spinks vs Tyson. They knew what was coming.

3 months ago Leicester fancied themselves.

Tonight, perhaps forwshadowed by their last game, they knew it was over, and played accordinglhy.

That was the first truly brilliant LFC game in a lot of games. Bossed it from minute 1.

Now, must beat Wolves, must keep going.

You look at the "Hard" games, and it's Wolves away, Spurs away, City away.

Of course, all the others have to play each other too.

Even the BBC are using words like "Crushed". The Guardian, usually so reticent, calls it "Ruthless".

Now I wonder if Wolves can't do us 2 favours in 3 days. Win tomorrow, get beat Sundee. lol

Starting to get these mild eye pains {in my right eye} when I overhead press about 100lbs for 10 reps or so. Could be a sign of glaucoma apparently.

It's not over till it's over but even with injuries i think they're good to go. Guys like Origi and Shaqiri have shown they can step in when there number is called. No single player out for the season would be a death blow to this squad.

What worries me {apart from everything} is that if they didn't win it, it would be THE greatest cock up of all times.

If Liverpool win the title Klopp should return to Dortmund and bring a few players with him. :Cowboy:

    FFS.

Whatever else Klopp ever feels, Boredom isn't it.

Klopp advised him to do so. He told Brendan he wanted something to work with when he takes over the job.

It's possible he doesn't fully see out his contract but even if that happens it won't be due to "boredom". It's the so called pundits that are bored.

I can't upload it but listen to Ally McCoists reaction to Liverpools opener if you can find it.

I sent my cousin a merry Christmas e-mail and told her to tell husband (huge Liverpool fan) that Jurgen said he'd never walk alone.

She didn't understand the reference but said "I’m assuming it’s Liverpool FC. "

I honestly cannot discuss any of that stuff right now, it's beyond me. But if Rodgers is in town he will get a round of applause. Ultimately he got us into the CL, over saw the sale of Suarez and did put together a side that Klopp got into the UEFA Final in his first half-season, which could not have been done with garbage. Rodgers did not do badly in terms of what he got done while he was here or what was done with what he left behind. Players like Sakho and Benteke were moved on for good money.

    These fixtures are mad.

Wolves on Sunday 29th- and Wolves play tomorrow.

Then Sheffield United on the 2nd of January

Then Everton in the Cup on the 5th of January

Then some degree of normality returns, 6 days to Spurs, a week to United................ before a 4 day gap and the game with Wolves, away.

There's no normalcy at all until the 2 week International gap which then follows.

    Fucking lunacy.

Once that is over, it's back to insanity. Norwich away and then Atletico away 3 days later.

So there's a major backlog awaiting us.

Need Fabinho, Ox etc back ASAP.

lol i don't have anything against Rodgers, it's just a combination of the parody twitter account the fact he's managing an opposing team in the EPL.

Genuinely think if Alexander-Arnold worked on his defensive game (and let's be honest it's his primary job), he could become the best footballer on the planet. No question. Liverpool ARE the best side in the world at this very moment, let's not get it twisted, they really are. So fucking fun to watch, all credit to them.

    :D

    Food is his true passion.

Just going back tae the insane English fitba schedule. Some great games but the over saturation leads most tae complacency. Ah love watching a game or two, but there's no way Ah'm keeping up wi' this mad menu. It lends itself tae injuries and a dilution o' interest, even though the standard is high. Ah ken they get paid a fortune, but let those laddies enjoy a wee break and some pigs in blankets, like.

As Super Ally wid say: 'Shausages!'
