IMO,..Duran’s most impressive win. Way smaller, fighting a strong beast like Barkley. Iran is literally two weight classes heavier..and probably 3-4 classes bigger
The fuck? Barkley was getting completely fucked up in the first fight before he pulled out that hail mary. The fight was going the way everybody thought it would go.
Maybe I need to watch it again, and I'll happily take it back if I'm wrong, but I remember Barkley being cut to fuck, beat up, and a round or so away from being stopped.

Hearns didn’t hurt Barkley to the head but he hurt him to the body. Hearns had a wicked left hook downstairs.
Barkley was being folded in two with body shots by Hearns when he landed the Hail Mary from hell ... he was getting his ass kicked
Its cool how all the Fab 4 became friends except for one dynamic. Duran became friends with Hagler, Leonard, and Hearns. Hearns became friends with Leonard, Duran and Hagler. The only relationship that never mended is Hagler died still not liking Laonard.
It was funny hearing hagler commentate the hearns leonard rematch "Ray just did some dirty stuff again right there! You know how he is ! "
Hearns losses to Barkley were mystifying. Especially the rematch. He had the template. I'd have loved to see Hearns fight a motivated Toney.
