What are some good ones? I haven't seen a good comedy in several years. It feels like the genre is dying.
Book Smart was pretty funny. Kinda like a female version of Superbad - not as funny as Superbad though.
As far as movies go, "Girl On The Train", that was pretty funny if you were in the right mood. Most of the best comedies nowadays are unintentionally so. As far as straight comedies go it's really hard for me to think of anything recent. "Knives Out" was amusing, but not exactly laugh out loud funny. On TV, I've been re-watching "The Office" and "Parks and Rec" lately. "Always Sunny In Philadelphia" is still pretty solid after all these years.
The biggest laugh I had recently was at my job when a staff member wrote the following report about a female client: "Jane Doe reported to staff that she had passed out in her room and was demanding that staff called a priest to perform the last rites."
You guys have no sense of humor. Particularly Clogg who thinks that his constant death wishes are funny, but they fail every time.
I seem to be in a small minority in this i watched bad Santa 2 the other night on netflix and thought it was fucking hilarious. There were a couple of bits where i had to pause the thing i was laughing so hard. Im guessing most people found it too bleak and meanspirited but i enjoyed how much they committed to that
Maybe i was just in the mood for it. The bit where he's ogling the hot ginger lass and quips 'i bet that pussy has lips like an orangutan' had me in fits
