Pathetic that he even faced a shot punching bag who'd been down 8 times in his last 9 fights. Davis either continues facing 5'4" blown up featherweights or he gets exposed.

Crawford ain't lying. Though if davis faced Haney next he'd have a punchers chance, before the kid gets stronger

Davis is a fast, offensive minded southpaw who can crack with both hands.
    Same as judah

He is a bit older than judah was before either stepped up in competition, but they seem similar to me. East coast party boys who have a blind fan base. despite lazy training habits, and poor stamina

By the end of 2020 Haney will be the big favorite.

They're certainly a helluva lot more similar than Davis and Tyson.

I think those comparisons have officially died.

Shouldn't even be comparing Davis to those guys. Those guys are up and comers. Davis is supposedly a reigning champion.

He might stop him on facial damage but to do that he'd probably have to walk through a lot of fire first and that might bring out the rest of the Zab Judah in him, namely being a quitter, if it's there, of course.

Davis looks physically stronger than Prograis though. Thicker through the neck.

Would be a war I am sure of it.

Renalo is fucking unbearable. His metaphors and catchphrases make me wanna vomit, and he tries way too hard to be "down".

Still, despite Renalo, the Showtime team still takes a shit on the DAZN team.

Paulie is 100 light years better than the Latin Fake, and Al Bernstein has forgotten more boxing than Chris Faggix will ever know.

Plus, at this point Brian Kenny is even more annoying than Renalo, because as corny as Renalo is, he's not nearly as biased for the house fighter as Kenny is.

I saw it coming too. HBO deserved to be called out for their bias, but I knew there wasnt another team as knowledgeable.

All these faggots like Chris Mannix, and Mark Kriegel are just cheap imitations of Merchant.

Did you watch the fight last night? Prograis would have destroyed a shot Gamboa.

Taylor and Prograis would both hammer Davis

Davis has fucking horrid work rate. I don’t pick him to beat any of the top guys at 135.

He can't maintain a high workrate due to his shit stamina.

Ultimately, he's gonna be fucked if he cant hurt a guy.

I didn't see the fight, I was just alluding to how basically Davis can't stop Taylor unless it's on facial damage. And he doesn't strike me as the sort of guy who will take 7,8 rounds of Joshs pressure game to just get that done. I am in no way shape or form endorsing a Tank KO prediction, not at all.

He seems like an asshole in any case, what with the assault charge etc.

I've no real interest in the proliferation of basura at 135-140, as Reed has alluded to, you've got two WBA Champs. WTF as it were.

When Judah fouught Tszyu, he had an awful awful combined record on his resume., I think the guys he had beaten had double-digit losses or something.

Judah had beaten better fighters coming into the Tszyu fight than Tank has beaten to-date. And Zab was like.. 23 I believe when he fought Tszyu.

Zab was never really afraid to face guys, I'll give him that much. He had a lot of limitations, but he wasnt a ducker.

Davis is 25, and running scared from Loma. Its embarrassing, cause Tszyu was more likely to seriously hurt a guy than Loma.

Yeah I agree but in a way Tszyu was a preferred opponent in that thanks to the Phillips and Hurtado fights he looked like a guy you MIGHT get at in some way.

Loma is the worst in that he won't just win, it's that he will make you look like an utter bum.

Against Zoo, you might get bashed, but only after you did a bit of your own bashing first.

Some fighters can live with that.

judah hadnt really beaten anyone worth a damn prior to facing tszyu. junior witter and reggie green are his best two names? not exactly much better than pedraza and a shot gamboa.

    You can make that argument.

But Zab definitely had a better resume at 25 than Davis has.

By 25, Zab had beaten Corley... at a time when that actually meant something.

Prime Corley was better than anybody Davis has faced.

    Yeah, they're definitely similar.

As you said, both fast and big punching southpaws who lack stamina and ring IQ.

Tank has a ways to go before he surpasses Judah's career though, and at this rate, he won't.

Judah didn't have a HOF career, but he has some decent, and he was unified welterweight champ - LEGITIMATELY, I may add.

Zab beat the man (Spinks) who beat the man (Mayorga) who beat the man (Forrest) who beat the man (Mosley).

It's worth mentioning he got lucky that the style match-up of the man he beat suited him and it still took two tries.

The previous champs would have handed him his ass.
