I doubt they'll be a rematch, but if there was, I feel Regis could win it.

Josh fought about as well as he possibly could. Prograis could have fought better.

Regis is still the fighter with more tools at his disposal of the two.

Taylor won last night simply by out fighting him.

I suspect Taylor-Prograis-Ramirez might be the typical styles triangle.

Taylor has the style to beat Prograis.

I still think Prograis would beat Ramirez.

And I feel Ramirez might beat Taylor.

Taylor's propensity for swelling and his love for going to war gives me pause.

I dont think he could win a war with Ramirez, I really dont. Ramirez has a better chin, and his skin holds up better.

Taylor Doesn't Dominate Ramirez or Anything, but he Beats Him in REED's Opinion...

I think Taylor would be way too strong for Ramirez

I'm not saying I cant see Taylor winning, but i think its gonna be harder than Dogg/REED/Neil think.

The only guys Taylor has blown through have been Ryan Martin and O'Hara Davies - two frauds.

Its fitting that Josh's last name is Taylor, cause just like Meldrick, he's quick to abandon boxing and go to war.

I have no doubt he'll go to war with Ramirez - it's just in his DNA to do. But Ramirez has a rock chin, and an educated enough hook to swell Josh up.

    It's a compelling fight.

But he bossed Prograis at close range, moved him and couldn't be moved... Prograis hits hard and could not get him off ... Is Ramirez stronger than Prograis? Does he hit harder? Better defensively? I don't see how he's any of those

I think a tear up is more naturally Ramirez's game than Regis'.

Regis is a better technician and better defensively.

Josh got lucky as Hell that his eye completely failed in the 12th.

What if he's not so lucky against Ramirez and it fails earlier?

Imma say Josh is a 60-40 favorite. I think that's fair.

It's Going to Take MORE Than Cardio and a Good Beard to Beat Josh Taylor Bruh...

Tactically Speaking, Ramirez Ain't Antonio Margarito, but he Damn Sure Ain't JM Marquez or Canelo Either...Point Being, Taylor's a Superior Tactician, More Skilled and More Talented Than Ramirez...A Better ATHLETE Across the Board...

We Still Don't Know if Josh Taylor is "Special", but Based on What We've ALREADY Seen, He's a Lot Closer to it Than Jose Ramirez Is or Ever Will Be, in REED's Opinion...

I doubt the odds will be even.

Josh will be a clear betting favorite.

If it happens, I'll likely end up picking Josh by competitive, yet clear decision.

I cant see a beating though. He didnt even give Baranchyk a beating, and Ramirez is a completely different level to Baranchyk.

Ramirez is a different level than Barachyk in the sense that he'd be favored to beat him but could very well lose to him.

I think we can all agree that Taylor wouldn't beat Crawford or Spence... likely wouldn't beat Pac either.

But... how do yall reckon he would fare against Thurman and Cherry Garcia?

Loma, Usyk, Beterbiev, and Josh are the four best gringos at the moment.

    In that order.

Caleb Plant is a light skinned brother as far as I'm concerned.

I knew Taylor was the best British fighter, and clearly so, but just like pretty much all of you I figured Prograis had the edge going into the fight.

Taylor looked good, and clearly legit, and Prograis looked that little bit better. Turns out Josh is even better than I thought. The guy can flat out fight, and is hard as nails.

Did size play a factor? Not sure, Josh did look like the bigger stronger guy. Which also surprised me, as REED said, Prograis despite being smallish, does seem physically imposing. Either way, Taylor beat him up and gutted out a clear win imo.

Surprised some of you thought it could go either way, I thought it was close but clear to Josh, 7-5.

Excellent fight though, this, the Beterbiev fight, and the Inoue fight were all superb.

Taylor signed with top rank. So if Ramirez doesnt drop the ball vs postol I expect that division to get unified

Which means, the Taylor-Ramirez winner probably gets matched w/Crawford.
