Rumors are buzzing that the producers of BLADE wants to turn the character into the first MUSLIM superhero. Whoa! What was Blade's prior religion? None? why pushing this? because the actor is Muslim? the Oppression Olympics never stop.

 

Lot of buzz on a rumor that Namor, The Submariner, will be the villain in the Black Panther sequel. And the name of Keanu Reeves is the one attached to that rumor. I think Keanu is a little too old to play Namor, but then again they can do marvels with a proper suit.

Disney/MCU just lost Spider-Man! Marvel and Sony couldn't reach a financial agreement for Marvel to continue using Spidey in their MCU films (Marvel was asking for a 50/50 split of grosses while Sony was offering just 5% of opening weekend revenues). As the deal fell through, Sony announced will continue producing Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland as the lead and maybe pitting him against Venom next (the Venom movie made $900 million worldwide without any help from Kevin Feige or Disney). This presents a problem for Marvel as Peter Parker was groomed as the successor to Tony Stark in 'Far from Home', now they will go back to Brie Larson Captain Marvel as the new leader.


In other non-Marvel news, Variety just reported that Keanu Reeves & Carrie Ann Moss have agreed to return as Neo & Trinity for 'The Matrix 4'. The tranny Walchowsky sister/brother/something will direct from a screenplay from the writer of 'Cloud Atlas'.

 

Kevin Feige & Disney announced 3 more shows from the MCU for the Disney+ platform. And they couldn't have gone more shill than these 3.

Ms Marvel- the most SJW NPC PC identity politics character of all time in the Marvel comics whose title have been cancelled and rebooted several times. Its latest incarnation have weak sales, but Marvel keeps it just to show how shill and inclusive they are. Kamala Khan is a MUSLIM teenager girl whose powers are...basically having a giant fist. Oh, and sometimes she does some Mr Fantastic stretching feats. The book focuses mainly on being a Muslim teen facing discrimination from RACIST, XENOPHOBIC, ISLAMOPHOBIC white people. The series will be written by a newbie whose prior job was as a blogger at The Guilty Feminist podcast, Bisha K. Ali, who not long ago tweeted 'I hate WHITE PEOPLE!'#WhiteGenocide. Great job, Marvel!

She-Hulk: The character is probably Marvel's first feminist 'icon'. While Bruce Banner turns into a green monster, his cousin turns into a green SUPERMODEL. At the beginning she was like Hulk in the sense of having lot of anger issues. However for the last decade or so she has become a civilized character now running a lawyer firm and tackling a lot of feminist issues. Expect a 'grab-her-by-the...' line reference in the first episodes. Sounds awesome, Marvel!

Moonknight: He is basically Batman mixed with Black Adam with some PC ethnics labels. To do this character proper justice they would need a big screen budget. Expect another Daredevil-like budget instead. Not hopeful.

 

From what I can remember She Hulk never had the anger issues the Hulk did and was always in control of her alter ego to the point that after a while she just stayed the She Hulk all the time. If that wasn’t from the start it sure as hell was a lot longer than a mere decade.

As for the Moonknight, if Marvel wants to do the character justice they need to change his whole image. How about, the DarkSideOTheMoonKnight. Instead of an all white costume he has an all black one. And his civilian identity is played by a black guy of course.

Was She-Hulk running a lawyer firm when you read it? At the beginning She-Hulk did had anger issues, but contrary to Hulk, she was more articulate and aware of her situation until she was able to keep in control.

I never actually read She Hulk comics, just remember it from her being in other peoples comics, but she’s been in control since the 80’s.

That Ms Marvel looks stupid as shit. If the character won’t sell I don’t get why they don’t just drop her or kill her off. She’s not that important other than being associated with the movies.

 

Ms Marvel is important for the AGENDA. That is why she is getting a series while better known, more popular characters are being ignored.

Talking about Ms Marvel series, it has been reported that the show's newbie writer, Bisha K. Ali, shutdown her tweeter account as soon as she was hired by Disney and deleted 5,000 tweets that many claim were filled with hateful racist remarks against white people. Someone screen captured many of those tweets before she deleted them. So Disney just got the right writer for their AGENDA driven show.

Disney Plus has found the lead for its 'Hawkeye" series and HER name is Hailee Steinfield aka Kate Bishop...because who cares if everybody knows that Hawkeye was a MAN in the movies?

In other news, critics are praising HBO's Watchmen calling it a masterpiece with 98% certified fresh at RT. And the audience? Hating it all the way to 43% rotten. Audiences biggest beef seems to be the departure from both the graphic novel & the Snyder film to push PC Identity politics. It seems that in this version the non-whites superheroes are fighting racists white supremacists during a Trumpian-like era which has pissed off way too many. Others complain that the show it is just plain bad. 'Watchmen' joins recent shows like 'Batwoman' and 'Star Trek: Discovery' that got praised by critics and hated by fans for almost exactly the same reasons.

 

The thing that perplexes me about comic book movies is when some joe schmoe one day uses his powers and everyone is like WTF WAS THAT??!! ...meanwhile given the "marvel universe" 1 out 5 people put there in the world has super powers and everyday the world is in danger and monsters and aliens.... yet when the aforementioned joe schmo lifts a car everyone is in utter shock and disbelief....

 

Your math is kind of off on the 1 out of 5 people have powers thing. Actually it’s more like, galactically off.

I like Mackie but I didn’t think his rant was totally accurate. There’s a lot wrong with film making today and he touched on minor ones that aren’t really the root cause. The reason there are no more movie stars isn’t because of the movie making it’s because of a lack of charismatic talent. Yes streaming services are an issue too but I think movies will always have a place in entertainment because it always gives you something to do when you feel like stepping out away from home with a date or your family.

The real reason movies suck now is because of money. They’re done strictly for profit while also being very expensive to make. It’s the reason there are so many remakes because everyone is too risk adverse to put money on something fresh and new because a loss sets you back several million. When they do green light something they often start micromanaging the entire production usually ruining what probably would have been a good movie.

So there you have it, money, pretty much the root cause of most problems in the world.

Last night Warner Bros did something nice for the DC/CW fans: gave them the surprise (since it didn't got leaked online) that Justice League's Ezra Miller's Flash met face to face with CW's Grant Gustin the Flash during the two hour finale of the crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths".

 

Saw the scene. Can't wait to watch the whole Crisis. I heard that 90's Flash (John Wesley Shipp) sacrifices himself so I'm not looking forward to that as I have been a fan since the original show.
