Football would be much better if more people had this attitude. I don't know where it stems from but it seems no matter what country or background a player has it's been somehow programmed into them that their ultimate goal should be to play for Real Madrid.

Yeah was a really fun game. One of those where it could have ended 6-0 Liverpool or 1-1 and either result would have "made sense", if you get what I mean.

Bit disappointed with tonights result and City. Thought Sheffield might take points off them. And lets face it, even I, if they had, would have said it was OVER by then. As it happens Sheffield came close to scoring before Shitty did.

    Fuck off Pep, Fuck off.

Sunday was great. Can't say I agree with the Coronation before the fact but it's true likewise to say that Sunday wasn't about United, it was about United and laying down another marker along the way.

Could have been 4 at half time.

Olly Sulkmeyer is going the same way as Brendan Buck Rodgers.....he makes things up, says stuff that's not true...usually immediately after losing a game.

"We lost but that's OK cos we aren't as good as them so really when you think about it we made them look bad. They should have beaten us by more".

This sort of deflection horsecrap that is more befitting of a man in lower league football.

Wolves await as do Southampton. Both dangerous.

Look I understand... I’ve got the same ethnic disease you have ... if you think positive, you’ll be disappointed... so think negative and you’ll either be reassured or pleasantly surprised on the off chance something good happens... I get it... abiding sense of tragedy and all that

I’m just saying the math is majorly in your favor here

Liverpool dominated and yet it could have been 1-1 in the 60th odd minute.

Take Salahs {basically last kick of the game} goal out of it and it's essentially a re-run of a lot of Liverpools games this season, and recently in particular.

Get a goal, don't get more despite chances, rely on excellent defending/bit of luck.

Spurs game and Wolves game were carbon copies of that. Sheffield a bit too. That's all post-Christmas.

Just need to see out these next three league games, got 4 games in rapid succession before we get a bit of a break. Then it's the CL and I am sure City will begin to dissipate as their interests lay elsewhere.

Liverpool will drop points at some stage I'm sure but 2 games in hand with a gap of 13 is huge. Also the pressure on City just to try and keep up is immense. They don't have the defence to put a run together like last season.

Also, it looks like City are focusing on the Champions League this season.

Hahaha I know, I think they will beat Real this time though. Hopefully they'll get PSG in the quarters so one of the oil clubs will be out at least.
