    Agreed but bookies have them favourites.

    4/1 for City {+400}

    9/2 for Liverpool {+450}

    So what. If I had 6 inches between my big green balls I'd go around reaching the Jack every shot.

    In a bit of bother here. All over the shop defensively and Mane gone off injured. Fuck.

    Tonight I am a believer. That was a gut check. Mane gone....Minamino thrown in at the deep end, Wolves had physicality and they fight to the death but there were some big individual performances to see us through a bad patch and then, as per usual, the big man for the moment stepped up to win it.

    Salah needs a kick up the arse though.

    Worst I've seen Liverpool play in the league this season yet they still pulled out an away win against a very good side. 9 wins from confirming the title now.

    Also, am I right in thinking Liverpool are 10 games from beating Arsenal's record? Gotta be close now, surely?

    Games are coming thick and fast and with Mane gone off we lost balance and clout between the front and the back. He works tirelessly. Minamino wouldn't be on that level now and he might never be. I'd have gone with Divock myself but there's a reason I don't manage LFC and Klopp does.

    Wolves are always going to find a way to test you. If anuything, LFC proved themselves tonight in a different sort of way.

    Allisson proving why Keepers aren't just expensive adornments. They win stuff for you. Allisson had a better game than Salah,. put it like that.

    Already broken it in some sense, I think Arsenal have the record through a season and into the next, Liverpool hold it for parts of two co-joined seasons.

    Arsenal's was 49 unbeaten, one whole season and a bit of the seasons either side. Liverpool are on 40 or 41 I believe, can't remember.

    If Liverpool get 103 points this season, that's 200 points over two seasons. Fucking mental.

    One of those moments when not even Google can give you a straight answer to a simple question:-

    Liverpool have gone over a year unbeaten in the Premier League, last losing to Man City on 3 January 2019. Arsenal went 537 days without defeat between May 2003 and Oct 2004, a feat that would be surpassed should Klopp's team not lose in 2019/20, that length of time being surpassed on 23 June 2020.

    Not the greatest performance but Liverpool keep on rolling. Wolves are a good squad with likes of Traore, Jimenez, Neves, Patricio and a well traveled experienced manager. If most of the key elements were a bit younger their talent would have been raided already ala Leicester and Southampton. They probably will be anyway if they keep up the audacity. Traore probably gone in the summer.

    What's mental is that until tonight Liverpool hadn't even conceded a goal for 12 hours of play.

    United haven't conceded a goal for 12 hours.

    trraore is a mixed bag.........Salah walked past him earlier for a shot when it was 1-0. He's offensively brilliant but lacks the defensive aspect that the Liverpool forwards have.

    He'd be right at home in Real, attacking.

    Per BBC Liverpool play 3 more games before Wolves play again.

    This schedule is mental and it is shredding the squad.

    Beat West Ham and Southampton and it's done.

    Klopp was approached earlier by MUFC asking if he'd participate in the forthcoming Dvd "We Drew With World Champions Liverpool"

    Jürgen politely declined saying that Olly should admit his Liverpool team are great first.
    Olly was asked for a response but was locked inside Fergie's office toilet and had swallowed the key.

    Get your head round this SOFT LAD. Before the Champions League Final in 2020 Liverpool will be reigning champions of England (Premier League), Europe (Champions League), World (Club World Cup) and hold the Super Cup too. They haven’t even invented the words to sum up how incredible that is and I’m a die-hard Baggies fan!

    Why does every manu knob think it's a poor season. compare the points to every other season it ain't too much difference. The only difference is that LFC are doing what Man city. Chelsea Arsenal and Manu done with their superb teams of the past and run away with it. No one slammed those great teams. ..utter jealousy ...and u know it

    I don't think they'll do it, not that they're not capable of it, I just think with the way it's going they could have the league wrapped up really early and Klopp will start resting players (especially if they're still going in the Champions League). Then they'll start dropping points in the remaining games. Would love to see them break all these records but it's asking a lot.

    To be fair though, one of those games is the FA Cup tie so it'll be the reserves playing in that one.

    While 95% of the time i would consider a Champions League triumph well above a league title, this is a rare exception. The fans have been starved of one and have come agonizing close. It also helps immensely that they are reigning European champions.

    This is a big reason why i don't think they will achieve the double. As much as you can say go out and win every game, play your best every time etc. there will always be a prize that mentally is more desirable. That difference in focus while maybe not massive, exists and will tell. It's why "darby" games result in upsets or are often much closer than they would otherwise be on paper. There's no question Liverpool are the best side in the world right now but they've had to work very very hard to get there. On this torrid pace and considering the level of quality in the CL it doesn't take much to get upended.
